Found this article:

https://www.thehifiguide.com/klipsch-rp-600m-vs-rp-160m/

"If you can afford the Klipsch RP-600M, I would recommend you choose that as the vented tweeter design reduces harshness and allows more detail to get through. It also has better bass so if you aren’t including a subwoofer in your budget this is something to consider. There is a reason the RP-600M is the updated version of the 160M after all."

I own the RP160M. One of the visual differences is there is a metal ring halfway in the tweeter horn of the RP600M. This is supposed to make the high frequencies slightly better.

I'm not sure if it makes such a big difference, though.

Just be aware of the fact that the Heritage line is in a whole different league.

Well the thing is, the 600m got all the accolades the past 2 years (in fact I bought a pair for my son, he loves them) and now I see the 160m which looks 99.7% the same, maybe the crossovers are different?

The RP600M got more attention because it was called 'SPEAKER of THE year' by CNET's Audiophiliac Steve Guttenberg.

Wow, after just 3 hours they really opened up and sounding really good. Can’t wait to see how they sound after 50 hours!

Did you get the 160's or 600's?
