AK5 Khorn xover problem

So the other day I notice the highs in one of my speaker were lacking. Change out the tweeter and still the same problem. Took a look at the xover and inspected it for anything loose and found the varistor is toast. Anyone know what value these are so I can replace it. Thanks in advance.

Wow...looks like that absorbed some energy:D. Is the tweeter still OK? Are the traces on circuit board still intact?

Sound is still there in the tweeter, just very faint.

check the 2nd speaker's crossover , you should be able to read some values on the  good Polyswitch  ,  a 0.50A Polyswitch should work

Check the other good speaker and there was no value on it.

That’s because there is a 100 ohm resistor in parallel with the polyswitch. When the polyswitch tripped, the signal was rerouted through the resistor. That you can hear sound through it means you didn’t blow a diaphragm.

It’s the correct part. You’ll be fine. I would use clips for heat sinks when you solder the polyswitch in.
