Klipsch Speaker value

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

I am hoping someone can help me.  I have a pair of Rosewood Heritage Klipsch Speakers and need to know their value.  Model KBFR Serial 2E329.  My apartment flooded and the insurance company has no one qualified to help me.

I'm not sure how insurance works, but new a set of Klipschorns would set you back about $16,500.00, only to be purchased as a set. Those on the used market could fetch around $2000-$4000 depending on location. If I am not mistaken, KBFR would be B style, Fir raw? The E in the serial number identifies them as 1966.  Not rosewood from the factory. But someone of the more knowledgably will chime in shortly.

Apparently you missed the thread at the top of this section that’s in all capital letters?

are you sure that these speakers are KB FR  .........because F  refers to Fir , but  your speakers do not look like Fir plywood

Please go to the Historian section of the Forum , and open another thread  ,  @JRH is the klipsch Historian

Please post  good quality pictures of the veneer from the front and the top of the speakers ,   and we also need  pictures of the rear tags  .
