SteevieO
I noticed Boston's first album out on SACD. When reading the cover it did not say anything about it being in 5.1. I totally love Dark Side of the moon (my first SACD). Will I be disappointed with Boston?
boomer9911
Just wish I had it on DVD Audio format. Is the recording in 2 channel SACD or Multichannel SACD, should state on the disk and main menu, just curious
Mike728
Boston is 2ch only, as is the case with most SACD's. This is not a bad thing. I have several DVD-A's, which are all 5ch, and think that they sometimes over do it with multichannel.
avman
it is 2-ch, and one of my first sacd purchases. if your mains are up to it, it is a great recording. avman.
boomer9911
To many formats, loose again, and with a classic album, man...oh well, and add Dark Side of the Moon to that list to eh...fudge...ok, f and 3 stars.
dachuckster
I bought this SACD a few months ago, but just listened to it. It stinks! It is suppose to be a SACD, not a 2 ch stereo CD. It claims to be both, but I wanted the 5.1 surround. I wish I had checked here before I bought it. Why put something out on SACD and keep it 2 ch? Piranha
If you want to add a couple well recorded SACD's to your library, pick up Elton John-Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, Madman Across The Water, and Honky Chateau.
BobbyT
I have this and it is alright. Check out the Stevie Ray Vaughn discs.
Zen Traveler
I agree with Piranha, Elton on SACD makes it worthwhile owning more than 2 Klipsch speakers
Mikekid
I highly recommend all of the Elton John SACD's. They are excellent!!! Take care Mike
minn_male42
before you go SACD shopping, check out the info here http://www.sa-cd.net/ all the info you need about all the SACD's out there
synthfreek
I have read nothing but mediocre reviews of the Boston disc. Most can't tell the difference between it and the redbook cd.
picky
Circuit City has a large selection of both DVD-A and SACDs on its web site. It's set up in an A-to-Z fashion: http://entertainment.circuitcity.com/Music/Audio.aspx?channel=b2c&partner=cc&si=ccnew
