chungalives
Found a pair of 1984 Klipschorns in Oiled Oak and will be picking them up this Saturday. The wife and I are driving 350 miles each way and hope to have them set up Saturday PM.
lynnm
You're going to love those things. I made a 700 mile round trip to get my 1982 Khorns 2 weeks ago. Starting to seem like a pattern.
jhawk92
Congrats. Yep, sounds quite familiar, except my drive was about 180 miles each way, and wouldn't have had room for the wife! You'll love them.
DVois
Congrats you'll love them. Fortunately mine were only 20 mins. from me (1967 Khorns). It does look like most everyone is now searching out the Khorn. Doug
Daddy Dee
Congrats Chunga! 350 miles is a piece of cake for a Khorn pickup. Also, cool that your wife is making the trip too. I sure enjoy windshield time with my wife. Dee
Frzninvt
I travelled 250 miles each way with my wife and mini-van with all the seats removed over hills and mountians in freezing rain and snow to retrieve my Khorns. I was on a quest! I got to meet DougV on my second trip to retrieve the La Scala's and Velodyne sub. He only had a 20 minute drive, lucky devil. efzauner
Hey I don't think that any speaker has fans like us! I drove 11 hours to pick up my LaScalas too!. But no wife, she is pregnant about to drop. Does you wife know the real reason you asked her to come along for the ride: To help you cary them out of the basement, up the stairs out into you van! Does she know they weight 167lbs each? Have fun! It will be worth it! Edmond Montreal
chungalives
Got the Khorns home Saturday PM. Did not have time to rearrange the living room to put them in the corners, but had to hook them up anyway. Set them up in the middle of the room. Played them till past midnight and all day on Sunday. I know these are designed for corners but they are the best darn speakers anywhere. Hope to get them moved into the corners this week. Triode Pete
Try driving 2500 miles for a weekend round trip (Long Island to Florida) in a cramped minivan to get a pair of Rosewood monster K-horns. Well worth the trip...no regrets whatsoever. Enjoy your horns, Pete
lynnm
For Rosewoods I'd have walked the 2500 miles
