Sideways tubes skew the sonics and cause you to turn your head sideways in order to hear it right thus leading to neck pain, also you end up with dead electrons accumulating on the glass bottom and there is no drain spigot there. If tubes were designed to run sideways they would have the pins on the side instead of the bottom. This design is all wrong unless the unit is rotating in non-gravity outer space, in which case it is perfect. Don't get me started about the sideways transformers and stuff.

Gee, no passive components in the signal path? No load resistors, no transformers no nuttin'. Must work by magic. Very impressive indeed.

Mark,

When is the "Deneen" SET amp being unveiled? Still no hints on the output tube of choice?

Klipsch out.

His take on the amp would be that the 2A3 version would sound better, be more "sublime", have more of that "see through quality", etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc... ... ... ... ... ... etc.

You guys really need to start learning how to use the search utility. Also, the email function works pretty good too. Kelly is very good about responding to mail -- just email the loon if you want to talk to him.
