Kudret
I am looking for a Scott 130 preamp. If you have one in good condition for sale please let me know. kudret
Kudret
Thanks for the suggestion, Ryan. I just want something that would equal the preamp section of a 299B. I was hesitant about LC-21 as it was a kit and it might be poorly built. If I can get a nicely built one I will consider LC-21 as well. kudret
Kudret
Ryan, One small problem. This is USA only. Kudret
mobile homeless
Kudret, you could get the unit and then have it sent to Ryan where he will go over it, then in turn, sending it on to you bypassing the Canada shipping quagmire. Sounds a bit circuitous but makes a bit of sense. That actually looks like a nice pre if you are into it. I dont know what Ryan will say to this but it is an option. Not sure what the piece will end up going for. Did you ever get any good tubes for the 70? That was one of the one main problems with that unit in that it came with lousy tubes. Any more on the DRD? kh

Deang
You could ship it to me, and I would give it a good shake to make sure there are no parts rolling around, and then I could send it to Guy to make sure I didn't miss any parts rolling around, who could send it to Kelly for a stock no parts rolling around review, who would then send it to Ryan to replace the ancient parts with newer up to date parts patterned after the original ancient parts, who would send it back to you -- who would send it to Craig, who would voice and hot rod it using Klipsch LaScalas. Kudret
Thanks guys, you're so kind. I knew I could count on you. Kelly, DRDs seem to have a good detail when connected to the center channel of the 299B. That's why I wanted to get the preamp section of the 299B in a separate box for now. I couldn't find any reasonably priced red base 5691, 5692s for 70 yet, and you are right Golden Dragons are really lousy.

3dzapper
I won this ebay auction last night. I've been using my 299c as a pre-amp and don't want to use up the 7591s. Good luck Kudret! Just about a half hour left on yours. I had bid on it early but was outbid. My snipe worked. Rick
Kudret
Congratulations, Rick. It loks nice. Please let me know how you like it. I'll have to pass on this one and wait for another one that is in Canada or the seller is willing to ship to Canada. Kudret
Painful Reality
Ryan, One small problem. This is USA only. ---------------- Kudret, most of the time, if you explain that shipping to Canada to the US ain't really an hassle using USPS, they'll agree to sell you. 3dzapper
That one went off at $247.50. The one last night ended at $180 I sniped at $225 max bid. I hope I did well, but we'll see when it gets here. I'm going to need to find a 6X4 or EZ90 before I can test it. Rick
kjohnsonhp
Another option is the Scott 355 which includes a tuner and a real cool vintage look. The downside is that these are harder to find and you end up spending more money. The attached is my NOSvalves 355. I've swapped the ST-70 for a NOSValves hot rod ST-70.
