tofu Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 nothing wrong with using your pc as a source. i use my pc as a source for my la scalas, and i won't be going analog any time soon. that's last on my list. i still need to get a tube preamp (probably merlin... cheapest worthwhile one i can find), crossovers redone, finish room treatments, and finally an external dac. Paul was PT Barnum.. in a way... They had the Heresies on top behind a cloth long before the bose trick.. playing loud as we entered the tent.... and we could not get too close at first... (fake corners..) wouldnt you know it.. we heard Heresies thinking they were K horns at first...LOL Paul talked about Klispch and what else we might see on that day... Paul sold the Heresies at "2/3 of a K horn" for a lot less. He said go to college young man, when you get out, get a good job..... come back n see us and buy some K horns when you have a house.. Guess what? That is exactly what I did.. PS ok no real comparrison between a k horn and Heresies AFTER you heard the K horns.. But you should of seen a LOT of people fooled.....
