Cal Blacksmith
I HAD HOPED TO BE THE FIRST TO REVIEW THIS CD BUT SECOND IS OK! Man that is some GREAT R&R!! Rest assured that full paynment will be sent ASAP! In "new boy sound" your drum kit is 12 feet wide and it ROCKS! Right now Dreamship is playing for the second time! The CD came today and I have a ton of work to do but I had to spin the CD "just to see what was on it" and it is now completing the second play! You can be proud of this music, I have bought many recordings I didn't like half as much! The whole CD is great AWESOME!!!

Klipsch RF7
Wow, what a great CD. I just recieved it this afternoon, i have it blaring out loud. Man, you have a great guitarist, the guy can flat out jam!!! I love his power chords and hammer ons and pull offs, it has that 80's pure rock and roll , just pure crunchy guitar with solo's. The drum work is awesome, you were just flat out rockin out. The Sax part on the 4th song is great, and vocals are very good. 20" and 18" crash, high hats, ride cymbals and twin bass drums rockin out. Keep up the great work, im always hungry for good rock 24/7 and you have satisfied my hunger Have you given thought to joining up with Vito Brata on your next album? BTW, is your wife Marjan persian? jt1stcav
---------------- On 2/3/2005 10:30:21 PM Born2RockU wrote: jt1stcav : Did ya get your B.L.T. cd already ? ---------------- It arrived today, Craig. Put it in my CD player and hit the "repeat all" button...played it 4 times in a row! Forum member Klipsch RF7 took the words right out of my mouth. There isn't anything I can add that he hasn't already said...This is one fantastic CD! Timing and pace is what makes this music so great; the performance is tight and full of energy, as is your drumming, Craig. The guitar licks are crisp and articulate without blur (no slop here), and the bass fast and lively (similar to Geddy Lee on his Fender Jazz Bass)! Rush must have been an inspiration, but you have your own unique style and technique unlike that of any other band I know. Keep up the good work, and keep on rockin' dude! Erik Mandaville
Ditto! Craig: Marie has been playing your CD all week in her car. She really knows how to listen to drums, understands phrasing, etc., and says she is just enjoying it very much. Great work! Erik
Cal Blacksmith
I played it on the way into work again today (I usually listen to talk radio) and that is one hard rocking CD! I don't know where you get enough hands to play as many drums as you do so fast I agree the git-tar work is tight and well done. I do think that my fav track is DREAMSHIP, just a little more mellow than the rest of the CD (but not much!) I like the transition you make from "new boy sound" to the next track, nice- real nice. It really is a hard rockin CD from one end to the other. I had a hard time keeping to the speed limit this morning, something about the music just kept pushing me faster All of the band members should be applauded, GOOD WORK! Born2RockU
All My Fellow Klipsch Members : You guys make me feel like I just won a Grammy ! I want to thank all of you guys whom have sent extra money for the cd. I know I offered this cd for FREE and your extra "tip" has been greatly appreciated. If you only knew how much it cost to do a cd of this caliber.... But most importantly, I am so greatful for everyones acceptance of my music. This style of ROCK is what I live for !!!! By the way...the sax player on track 4, " Full Circle ", is the sax player for the Allman Brothers !!! ....ever heard of them ??? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ R o c k - O n ~
