What a nice place! Shhhhh!

So, what's your Klipsch?

... or you can be like one of the regulars (Kenratboy?), and make about 3,000 posts before you even buy anything from the sponsor company 1.gif

Anyway, welcome!

...and please don't ask any cable or interconnect questions, as my blood pressure has been a bit high lately 9.gif

Welcome Jimmy James. I liked your name so much, I Googled it. There was a Jimmy James who was a captured RAF officer and who was part of the actual Great Escape during WW II. There was Jamaica Jimmy James & the Vagabonds - a sixties soul group. There is a Quebec jazz guitarist named Jimmy James. Then there is this Jimmy James, oooops 6.gif , who I'm sure is NOT you.

I've got five pairs of Heresys, a pair in every room in the house! I got a mixed bag of amps and receivers, nothing fancy, just nice and reliable.

As for wires and cables, I use zip cord for speaker hookup or the old style Monster when it's on sale. Buy interconnects the same way, whatever's on sale and made decent.

I spend my money on music, but may go bigger in the speaker department after we move this summer, been house hunting all week for a decent lease.

Better not let the old lady catch me here with you guys!

Welcome aboard! You'll love it here

Fair warning... It tends to leads to unplanned upgrades and purchases when fair-priced used Heritage gear are mentionned that are close to where you live. Can't say you haven't been warned. 2.gif

Peter is right. My wife pointed out to me the other day that I've bought four sets of Klipsch speakers since we were married less than two years ago, and the buying spree's commencement roughly corresponds to my enrollment here. Welcome!

Glad you like it! While we're on the subject, my wife's name is Jean James, my oldest boy Jackie James, and the youngest boy, Jeffrey (Jeff) James. Now what do you think of that? How's that for a theme?

Were you tempted to name one of the boys JJ Jr?

Nope, but that's a thought! I think my wife's done having babies though. She got to break the trend when our last child and only daughter came along and named her Valerie. Now we've got two "VJ" days around here!
