neo33
You mean you can't see the PM button in your profile?
colterphoto1
It was slow for me at first, but the more I poke around, the faster it gets. ... I like the way you say that Amy.... Michael LOL
dubai2000
Right, Neo......so why is that? Wolfram
scriven
Amy, You hit it on the head. The browser cashes all of the graphics elements locally. Since everything is new the browser had to download everything. As you keep poking around things should return to the speed you are used to. (Note: This will be much more noticeable on a slow dialup connection.)

The reason you don't see it in your posts is because you don't need to send a PM to yourself. neo33
"Right, Neo......so why is that?" I haven't the slightest idea, Wolf. Apparently they want you to email yourself but not PM. Such a strange concept (at least somebody explained to me that way).

Chris Robinson
Seems pretty sweet to me. Most of the changes historically have been for the better. I'll need to test the search engine before submitting the final grade []
tillmbil
How do I like it? Let me post and see.
Gilbert
the board seems a little slower to me... Try typing faster. []
sfellini
The new post editing is broken under Mac OSX Safari. I'm having to use Firefox.

jt1stcav
I guess I'll eventually get used to its aesthetics. I don't care for how slow this message appears while I'm typing it in, and I'm a slow typist and the words that appear on this screen can't keep up with me. I'm also not too fond of having the images we post in our threads appear as oversized thumbnails that you have to click and download in order to see them full size. I'm sure there's a way around it, but I don't know that technique yet. Still, Nate the Webmaster did a fine job...it couldn't have been easy to migrate an entire forum to a new format, and he tried to please everyone. I know it's not completely finished, so only time will tell how it'll finally come out.
psg
It's effectively unusable with Mozilla/Netscape. You're unable to cut and paste into the reply window. Hmmm. That's right! Yuck! [:'(]

steve
I like the new forum look, but when using Mac OSX/Safari, the reply to box is nothing like it is on IE/PCs. I can't use the emoticons, etc. Oh well..I think it works faster than it used to..at least on Safari! Steve PS/the attachment is what the 'Reply box" looks like on safari.. steve
I like the way it automatically attaches pics..that's a lot better than the old way of editing, then attaching them to the post! Just had to test it.. Steve
