Gmon814 Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 Hello its 2012 and I have owned klipsch Khorns &split LSI Lascalas & Belles since the 80,s and always liked the 2 channel sound,convinced by my yonger brother to try HT set up,I was never happy with the subs I auditioned at The local stereo stores,I saw kpt 684 for sale, I hooked it up to a Phaselinear 700 series 2 Amplifier, I dont know anything about crossovers 20HZ etc,It runs through marantz DP870 processor sub out, It really sounds good sound, so good I have not tried it on two channel yet ,I told my younger if he sees one for sale dont pass it up! Busy watching Bluray 3 weeks now,Let you Know how 2 channel sounds with it in another 3 weeks after I learn more about crossovers etc, right now the bass is hitting hard with K-horns Left Right fronts,Belle center,2 industrail lascalas surrounds,Kpt 684 sub, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gmon814 Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 two channel consists of soundcraftsmen SP4002 preamp EQ ,DBX 3b expander Crown powerline 4 series amp & Two Belle klipsch with AA crossovers not sure ofthe year of Belles they sound so good it didnt matter ,I switch out amps at times with crown300A series amp, And Forte model 3 amp, The forte amp gives them a really nice sound, I listen to the Forte amp a lot , and hours of listening with Khorns & phaselinear 700 series 2 amp, had Circle stereo in Dripping Springs Texas go through amp for any issues, and John soderberg for the Forte Amp to get it to original specs,In the early 80,s this was used in family resturant with 4 La scalas and K horns on the dance floor, Just think if I would have Known about that Kpt 684SW, Maybe one day my two brother & I known in DJ circles in town AS The Cleanest Sound In Town , They both have 4 LSI each , & 4Hersey HIP, &little Sister with A pair of Lascalas,And big Sister With Zebrawood cornwalls,Other big Brother with 1980 unfinished K horns & Fortes& Chours I started this I should have suggested last name Change to Klipsch, At that time they probably would have at our next family Reunion Iam Going to put it up to Vote,LOL, The Family Of Klipsch.Up date nephew just bought set of 1980 Cornwalls.
