thebes
ll The Twins are off to Paris for the holidays leaving me alone and bereft. They are off to see Uncle Pierre (Uncle Pierre my butt, Im getting more than suspiscous over how many uncles these gals have, Well I could be wrong, Im sure its just an excuse for a shopping expidition). Did I mention how great they looked boarding for the Air France flight?Tawny looked absolutely Euro style, leather this and black that, and Tickles was stunning in one of those frenchie red and white striped sailor t-shirts, with a beret squished down over her flapper curls. Ferget auod it. I dont need no stinkin Twins, I got great gear and great music. So lets jam,. We all got something we play when the significant other is away, or the boss is out town, or we just feel like ripping loose. You can wrap the presents later, go to the Mall a week from now, but lets crank it up and play it loud: Right now Ive got Bob Marley, Bus to Babylon on the changer, and Exodus is on. EiiiieeeeRieeee So Mon, what do you need on changer to kick it loose?

jt1stcav
When I'm home alone, I'll crank all my 8 watts of SET power with Pink Floyd's The Final Cut, AC/DC's The Razor's Edge, or any organ CD on the Dorian label by Jean Guillou! ranjith
The Police - Synchronocity is another great album to kick back and relax too. Awesome bass lines in most of the songs, a lot of the melodies are influenced by various genre of music. The songs flow so smoothly , its a must hear. thebes
Well sorry to have crapped out last night. At first things went very well, and I was "rocking da house". But then I had an extra glass of wine and started missing The Twins and the next thing you know I'm completly maudlin and soothing my bruised ego with Leonard Cohen. Ah the Sisters of Mercy.... But I digress, the changers back on and I'm cranking up the tunes, got some of what you guys have suggested but need more. Ta hell with Paris, I'll go there in the Spring, leave The Twins, behind. Have I ever told you about the coquette Franscoise? Ah, she has gypsy eyes, a moue of a pout accenting her generous lips, button nose and bedroom eyes, a body like.... Mallette
Damn, Thebes, you should have warned me about the twins being in Paris for the holidays. My wife and our Hollywood editor friend will be there for New Years. If they meet up with the twins, sock her blue!. Fox News Alert! Is Paris burning? Cornwalled
Glad to hear the Pink Floyd and Roger Waters recommendations! As an avid Pink Floyd fan since childhood I couldn't agree more. Roger Water's "Amused to Death" is an amazing album, both musically and technically. Has great slammin songs, cool eerie expansive songs, very cool. The use of Q-Sound gives a great image that should extent beyond the speakers. And of course you can't beat "The Wall" on vinyl. I just bought a great copy a few weeks ago. Went to play and the record player died. Figures...lol -Jon
