BigBusa
If I see my name in the "last post" column on more than say ...50% of the forum does this mean I'm addicted to this board and this hobby? Does it mean I have no life? Can I blame it on the cold weather outside? The winter season? ------------------ My system thus far: 1980 Cornwalls (mains) 1990 Heresy II's (rears) 2001 KLF-C7 (center) 2001 KSW15 (Subwoofer) HK AVR 510 (reciever - coming soon!) soundog
There are far worse addictions. Believe me Ive tried most of them. I work with the devastation daily. Addicted people truly have no life the addiction "owns" them. dougdrake2
Big - As an ex New Yawka myself, I empathise with your cold weather plight. However, there is a silver lining. Here, where the sun shines 366 days a year and it was 85 degrees when I got up at 7am Sunday morning, we never have the bad weather excuse to putter with our HTs. Seems there is always the opportunity to work in the yard, paint the house, clean the garage, etc. which always takes precedence over hobbies. So, embrace your cold, blustery weather for what it is -- a gift from heaven to let you work on your hobby guilt-free!! Doug
ShapeShifter
It's an addition that you can live with and one that causes you no serious physical harm. Audio Flynn
130+ posts since September is alot but you seem to be having fun. Now if you bought 130 CDs and could not make your housepayment, that may be a problem. If you were a daytrader and were making 130 trades a day with the cash you liquidated from your retirement fund, that may be a problem. If the website was more important than "nookie", that may be a problem.

WMcD
Perhaps there are some similarities to chemical addiction. On the other hand: Here you're sharing communication with those who have a common interest. That doesn't seem so bad. And it is cheap. mike stehr
I don't know about BB lurking, but this Audio hobby can get to be a monkey on your back! But if it keeps your sanity, who cares! THANX!
lovedrummin
Hey, If it keeps the guys from dialing those 1-900 numbers so they can talk to Priscilla Goodbody and her friends, it's like money in the bank. Not to mention it keeps your significant other off your back. There are worse addictions in this world.
RobCurran
I might not post as often as some but I check out this BB at least four to five times per week. Would I say I'm addicted? You'd have to ask my wife. She thinks I'm but it's better than going out drinking with the boys!
