RichardP
Since there's none left hanging, I'll add one: "Mm, I love good food." "Really? My mother loved good food. She used to say ' I'll take good food over bad food any old day' ." (hint: the movie was released in mid 1960s) OK, here's a hint. More lines from the same scene: "I have been called brave. What is brave? Let me clarify this"

colterphoto1
If Amy is correct, we're waiting for her movie line next. Rich, yes you are a controlling bstard, but this game has to have a couple of rules. I read two pages and couldn't figure out which quote went with which answer. So is Amy up next? Give us one your majesty....

Moderators Amy Posted June 23, 2006 Moderators Share Posted June 23, 2006 [] It's quick and easy for me to respond, but taking time to think of one is a little more consuming.... Hmmmm... "Look mister, we serve hard drinks around here for men who want to get drunk fast, and we don't need any characters around to give the joint atmosphere." colterphoto1
My fave movie ever. It's a wonderful life- spoken by Nick the bartender in the 'alternate universe scene' Michael

sputnik
" You wanna be talking about foot massage, I'm the foot fckin master. Moderators Amy Posted June 23, 2006 Moderators Share Posted June 23, 2006 Here is the single line from one of the most poignant movie scenes of all time. "Jean Louise, stand up! Your father's passing." To Kill a Mockingbird Not so poignant, but one of my favorites for one liners: "I hate you!" "I hate you more! If hate were people, I'd be China!" Moderators Amy Posted June 23, 2006 Moderators Share Posted June 23, 2006 RichardP, I'm completely lost on yours! Moderators Amy Posted June 23, 2006 Moderators Share Posted June 23, 2006 That must be City Slickers (can't say whether 1 or 2). One it is! I must admit, I cheated and looked up yours online because it was driving me crazy. I won't say in case others might know, but I was glad to see I'd never even heard of the movie (and it wasn't just a failing memory!)... Looks like a good one, though! "Darling...light of my life...I'm not gonna hurt ya. You didn't let me finish my sentence. I said I'm not gonna hurt ya. I'm just gonna bash your brains in." OK, OK, one last hint, and this should give it away to anyone who has actually seen the movie: Seconds after the character delivers the "Let me clarify this" phrase, a voice off-camera yells "Attaboy, Luther!" ScorpsFan
Duplicate post, since I have an extra post, thought I'd fill it in with some movie conversation: Willie:.......... I heard you screaming all the way down the alley. Leonard:.......... I wasn't screaming! Alright? Willie:.......... Yes you was. Leonard:.......... I said I wasn't screaming! I was whistling! Willie:.......... You was what? Leonard:.......... I was whistling for you! Willie:.......... You was whistling, "Willie, help, get this b**** off of me"?
