Spider
Hi all, I bought 2 Black LaScalas about 16 months ago with identification on the back: 155316, 155315 LS BR. tested by M. Bradford.. Can anyone tell me anything about them? Also original crossovers seem OK--at least I am thrilled with the sound. These are paired with Carey 14 W tube integ amp. Question: should I have the crossovers updated? If so what will I gain. By the way, I wear hearing aids but the clean sound to me, is dramatic. Any ideas or information will be appreciated. BEC
If that second 5 is really an "S" they would be 1978. And yes, if your crossovers are AAs they at least need the caps replaced. Bob Crites
Audio Flynn
It is a very "sound" investment to upgrade the crossovers.

Spider
Very "punny"! What do you folks suggest about how I go about having somebody modify or replace the original crossovers in my LaScalas? I live in the Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater area and based on past experience, wouldn't think of doing it myself. Thanks to all for your responses.
