turbobusa65
I have an old "but in good shape" marantz 2275 receiver and I am fixing to buy some RF 7's. will this old intergrated amp / receiver drive theses peakers ok? If not what would be a good solution?
lwhaples
Turbobusa65, I had a 2285 Marantz and was using some big speakers that had twin 15 inch woofers. The Marantz had no trouble with powering those.Never heard RF 7's,but would think being Klipsch you shouldn't have any trouble.Good Luck! Duke Spinner
well, it might be ok .... depending on how loud you like it... the TO-3 cased output devices in that Marantz.. aren't gonna be in love w/ the 2 somethin' ohms the RF goes down to , if ya like it to crank it

JohnA
It'll do a fine job. You'l rarely use ore than 1 watt and hav plenty of headroom.

Chicago_Pete
I had a 2285B driving a pair of Cornwalls in a second system that I thought sounded good until I brought my Fisher 400 out of mothballs. Mucho better match.

Mucho better match. Mark it down another tube amp testamonial.[] I have to admit I have not recapped a 1970s vintage SS integrated yet. I got this 45 pound Denon I have been holding onto for a while, it will be just for a barn system at my brother in laws, no soundstage possible. jacksonbart
Forget the Heritage, but give the RF7s a chance and also pick up a RSW-15 to use along with them.
