Good movie, better than the first IMO. The sound is awesome, really good bass through out the entire movie. This would be one to add to the demo collection.

Yes I will be ordering one within a week or two. It will be replacing my XPA-5 in my theater room. I'll let everyone know how it stacks up if no one beats me to it. This thing will be beautiful in my theater room.

You can't find a 5x400 amp anywhere for under 3k unless it's a rack mounted pro amp. The XPR is an amazing deal at $1,800.00.

That's seems way too high. I heard them talking about an XPR-7 awhile back that probably would have been in that price range but I can't see them charging almost double the price of an XPA-5 for two extra channels.

The last I heard they are working on an XPA-7 but no idea when this will make it to market.

You will need to pay a decent amount to ship the Epik, don't forget that. I have dual Empires and love them. They dig deep and hit hard. They are very musical being a sealed sub.

I have not heard the KLF's personally but from what I have gathered here on these forums over the years is that the KLFs had cabinet issues and they also used poly tweeter diaphrams which didnt sound that great. IMO the RF-7 is a better built speaker in stock form and was obviously much more popular as far as sales which helps with the re-sale value.

Yes they do... I try to tell new comers this all the time. I don't know why HK sounds so good but they do.

I know the older RF-7 like I have dips down to 2.7 ohms or so but from the charts I have seen the RF-7 ll only dips down to 3.7 ohms. Is there another graph floating around showing the RF-7 ll dipping below 3 ohms?

I thought THX Ultra ll just meant that it could reach the levels in a 3000 cubic foot room instead of a 2000 cubic foot room and so on for different levels of certification. I don't see how an impendance dip would effect the RF-7 ll as long as you cross them over at 80hz. Is there more to it that I'm missing?

With the latest firmware my UMCs are rock solid. It may take some tweaking to get all of your channels set up the way you like them because EmoQ isnt very good but that's fine IMO. I kind of like tweaking all of the EQ settings in every channel anyway. I feel like it gives you almost total control.

Do you have the latest firmware update? My handshake is very fast and very stable after the last firmware.

I run Focal components all the way around in my truck. I have not heard another system as clean and clear as mine IMHO. It will have your ears ringing if you want it to. I run a four channel Alpine digital amp to the components (100 x 4) and I also have an extra set of Focal tweeters in the dash columns facing the windshield so they bounce back at you, super clean! So I'm running four 6.5's and 6 tweeters with two JL Audio 10" with another digital Apline pushing the woofers. I'm running the Alpine INA-W900 7" touch screen and Apline 6 disc DVD changer. Focal and Alpine blend beautifully together!
