  2. Don't we always preach to the choir that countries should give liberty and freedom? These people are fighting for that right and if they elect another dictator so be it??? What, they can have liberty and freedom so long as its only the western form?
  3. Amazon is really good in this regards. If you have a dispute its advised to send them an email but if you can show proof you tried they usually side with you. I remember ordering something and the person practically begged to not given him less than 4 stars or amazon will remove them if they are like 3 stars or less than 90% approval rating. Usually the sellers are pretty good about it? I brought some supposedly new books from other sellers but it was clearly used and I said to the dealer that its used and sent pictures. I requested that the average price of the used book be factored in and returned the difference which the seller did without another email.
  4. I have the rf-83 and although a different design they still have some similar energy situation. I remember the rf-7, the rf-83, and I assume the RF-7 II have a dip in impedience at around the 40 hertz range. I remember one of the Klipsch Engineers said that the rf-83 dip to 2.8 ohm at I think 43 hertz or so. I have a Denon 3805 which is not a bad receiver in its own right but it could not do 2.8 ohms and the bass was gone. The HK I had before did it but it was a stereo receiver. I had to purchase a Crown XTI 1000 to supplement the Denon and thus everything is fine. I went receiver but eventually just did the whole pre pro. If you are still doing a receiver I implore you to make sure it is atleast 4 ohm capable.
  5. Newer cars can optimize their gas/fuel ratio to get the best gas mileage. The car can understand that and have optimum performance with the gas. It usually takes a tank of gas or two for the computer to change.
  6. Lets also not forget that 87 has more energy than 93 just that self ignition or pre detonation ruins things.
  7. subsidized heavily by the Saudi governmnent. Why because they have to ship it to a country that could refine the oil (Oil companies are smart to not refine in the country of origin due to well flammability issues (oil does not burn easily), stability as they realized the government could kick them out, and for the ability to ship a bunch of different grades over at the same time. Water is a lot cheaper now due to better desalination processes using reverse osmosis rather than steam condense of yore. Also again subsidized by the government. I believe all utilities are paid for by the government

  11. It depends, I built a custom made subwoofer that can do 120 db at 20 hertz. It really depends on where you are in relation to the subwoofer and room If you stand in one place you cannot hear or feel it, stand in another and you start to feel nauseaed. Walk down the dormroom hall >50 feet and your eyes start to blur
  12. heh yea. Its a bit weird they went back to the style of binding post that was used more on the RF-7 than the RF-83. The 83 had a crystal clear binding post with inserts and no caps.
  13. wouldn't a can of compressed air work?
  14. its fine the top binding posts do not have caps so you can put banana plugs in them
  15. HD Ready means you plug the cable or coax and it will decode the hd signal without an external box. HD capatible meant you need a digital decoder to make it work. That in it of itself was shady as any tv will work when you have a digital decoder, just its not in proper hd ratio.
