  1. Well, our buddy Sputs is obviously on the spot, again. Besides that, with my lack of sophisticated musical tastes, and my proclivity to let my mind run in the gutter, I had better drop out of here and go home. Wishing you all a good weekend.
  2. Well, one thing is CERTAIN: ain't no way that Larry would have let him play any of that deadhead stuff within his earshot. Thus, dr. gary must have up to no good . . . . probably was thinking he'd offer to do a free medical exam on the nubial twins. . . . . thank the Good Lord he has a good wife (ya gotta love lawyers, and their instincts) to keep him on the straight and narrow.
  3. Hey Duke, if ya don't get his pm, call the Twins . . . . . I've been led to believe they have his "private number" . . . . . seems salacious to me, but whatever keeps the 3 of them happy . .. .
  4. Well, although I have never had the pleasure of meeting LarryC, I have always had the distinct impression that he was a class A gentleman, despite his inclinations to hang out with that other ne'er do well (garymd[] whom we all know to be a real hell-raiser). HOWEVER, if he is hanging with the Twins, I might have to start thinking of Larry in a whole new light . . . . . a very good, but WILD light. I wonder if anyone else was aware of his wild side . . . . . ??? I'm gonna have to get more info from sportyJoe, Richplace, and the guy with the sunburntwilly about the "other" side of heretofore staid and straight-laced Larry . . . . . . I do have to compliment him on his gentlemanly instincts of holding the ladder for the lovely lady, but it was unclear in your story if under the baggy painter shorts she was wearing her official Klipsch thong. Perhaps Larry will elucidate.
  5. Mikey, I be thinking you need the love of a good woman, . . . . . . . . . . .or maybe a not so good woman . . . hehehe If you do the catch and release thing (with the speakers), throw them out this way . . .. .
  6. Brian, I live and work in SB. How the heck I missed these is beyond me, but congrats are in order. If you decide shipping is too much, or if you find a pair closer to you, I will offer to take over your position, plus a little to make it fair (you know you got a great deal). Hey mikey (colter), how many more pairs of Klipsch speakers do I need to catch up to you?? I think you're winning, 'cause I ain't got nowhere near the room you do . . . . .plus i got them females taking over the place . . . go figure[]
  7. Well, at least they went to a good home, and stayed in the forum family. Congrats to Bookman, especially since he appears to have a supportive spouse .. . .. . . .. .. .as do we all.[]
  8. "great" hardly describes it; some say he is quite dapper, especially with Clu's new hat on his distinguished head.[]
  9. oh, a new member: dapper3dzapper . . . . kinda has a nice ring to it ..
  10. Hey Rick, as much as we enjoy having you here I think you better "listen up" to Oscar. That big ol' buck or elk will just be bigger next year, and easier to hit.
  11. Craig, what's this you say? Are you suggesting that your nickname of "Sensitive and PC Craig" is a misnomer ???? Nah, I won't believe it! []
  12. hey travis, you want to join the group , or is this strictly a solo venture?
  13. Rich, I am agreeable to your "must have" selections. I will chat with Michael. patrick
  14. Michael and Rich, if you are serious I will go in for a one-third share. We will need to agree on a method to decide how to split the ones we all want . . . . .unless you simply want to give me first choice (just kidding). I am open to suggestions and you each have my email. patrick
  15. Rplace, click on the sellers other items and you'll see he has one with 4 bids that closes in 3 days, and then this one 6 days out
  16. !. if they ain't broke, don't worry 'bout fixin em 2. sorry for the hijack; rplace, speaking of chorus', did my email of the 17th come thru?
  17. Amy, I thought Wonder Woman was the tamest of the bunch . . . . . and she had no hesitation being out and about in public. Was there a hidden "nasty" that missed my discriminating eye ( I 've got 1 good eye and 1 dirty eye)?????????????
  18. Jackson, dude, you da man! Those are hilarious. Are some of those forum members?? Which one are you?????????????????????
  19. QUERRY; Was it Yogi Berra that said something along the lines of : "It's like deja vu all over again!" LMAO, we just gotta love you guys! . . . . . and who said old deano didn't have a sense of humor?
  20. Seadog, it looks like they are going your way . . . . . but I am not sure you got my pm.
  21. just an observation, or food for thought: with all the problems facing mankind, both here on the forum (mrs. marvel, lynnm, etc) and in the bigger picture (anyone who used to have a home in or about New Orleans), is this really how we want to spend our time, intellect and/or emotional energy?? Although we have the LUXURY to argue about some of these things, might it not be a bit silly? Craig, most people here are probably not offended by the self promotion ( I am not), but those that are irked by it have the right to comment upon it without you "getting all pissy" about it. I think you will find that more here are offended (at least I am) by the lashing out you do, which always turns personal, than any of the initial posts. Restated, I enjoy the info I have gotten from your posts with actual information in them, I enjoy the dialogue by and between DeanG, BEC and AL K, and Mark Medeen is in a class by himself. But for the sake of all of us, learn to respond on a less viscereal basis. Reading your posts, I think most would conclude that you react first to who is saying something rather than to what is being said; to wit, if Jazman or Mr. Songer said "Good morning, sir!" it is likely you would view it as a snide insult, whereas if Dr. Gary[], or that mean-*** fish guy out here (Piranha)[] said the same thing the same way and at the same time, you would be inclined to reply "Oh, why yes it is, thank you!" JMHO, YMMV, aymtmhisfumatialoombbbtiyp (translated: and you may think i have my head so far up my *** that i am l ooking out of my belly button, but that is your perogative)
  22. . . . . . yeah, I've been good, but only because I missed the posting of the picture, not because I wanted to be good . .. hey JT, maybe you could email it to me .. . . . and I will be sure to tell Amy that it "weren't no big deal" . . .. heh, heh, heh . ..
  23. Steve, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it is never too soon to start getting an audio system together for your grandson ... . . .. . . .but you may want to tweak it for the next 18-21 years[] Hey, life is great? Enjoy! and our best to mom, dad, Savion, and the proud GRANDPARENTS!!!!!!!!!!
  24. . . . . and just the other day I was thinking (yes, sometimes I engage the grey matter) to myself: "Self, ya know, kinda seems like the ol' K forum has been a bit boring as of late . .. " Thank the good Lord (redundant, I know) weez about to party again!
  25. Hey guys, c'mon now, it's Sunday and we are all supposed to be on our best behavior.
