I could not tell much difference, but I would not call my ears tuned to hear a difference. I thought my C7 sounded great and I think the academy sounds great. I do not know if I could tell you which one was playing.

We have had a very light winter and the grill has been used at least once a week. But we usually spend most of our time outside in the summer. I spent this weekend building new platforms to hang Heresys and in the morning I am going to run speaker wire through the attic to the back patio. I have the platforms across and pointed towards the grill effectively making that area the sweet spot (hehehe). The only thing left to do is alter some umbrellas to serve as sun protectors for the speakers. Let us know how the indirect rotissiere(sp) goes and how well you like that. I sure would like one! I also want a true smoker, we smoke in our grill but we have not mastered that yet.

I took my chances and bought a 100 album lot that the seller said would be "good 80's stuff" for 10 bucks. No one bid because he would not list titles, he had a good rating in the thousands so I figured what the heck. It was just what I was looking for "good 80's stuff" only a few repeats. I figured out how to keep the wife from complaining about the speakers, start buying albums. hehehehe Oh, I bought a 400 lot of 45s for 20 bucks, she asked what the heck was I going to do with those,,,,My reply,,,,,,put them in the jukebox,,,,,,,,yep, you guesed it, we do not own a juke box (YET!!!!!) But back to another post, I want to see if you can hook up external speakers to a jukebox. Some of the older ones have tube amps.

It could have been done by the seller themselves, they put it in with a 400 BIN before researching and then did a little research and saw they could do much better possibly so had someone bid to take away the BIN.

No it is not, the payment went out in the mail today! Anyone in NW Arkansas want an Academy/KLF-C7 comparison give me a holler and we will set something up in about a week or two.

New "old" sounds pretty interesting but it also makes me kind of nervous about purchasing anything Used "old" right now. Oh well, Anticipa - a - tion it's making me wait............

Because I am getting an Academy to go between my Cornwalls. I have tried to upload pictures all morning but it keeps locking up so I have them waiting in a file to email upon request. I will ship but would hope someone could pick up in Northwest Arkasas. Placing here before posting elsewhere because the same was done for me.
