  1. Gary is just being nice as he is still trying to influence me so that he can slip away unnoticed with my amp....HA! Good luck with that!
  2. Yep, always love to hear what the non experts say....And, once again, no one has asked (other than me) about type of music, source equipment, room acoustics. Oh, and by the way, some of the KG series will kick your A$$. I'm just sayin'...... I had KG2, KG2.5 and KG4. Meh... Forte trashed them completely and even Forte was not that great. Well, that's what happens when you play in the shallow end of the pool.
  3. Yep, always love to hear what even the self admitted non experts have to say....And, once again, no one has asked (other than me) about type of music, source equipment, room acoustics. Oh, and by the way, some of the KG series will kick your A$$. I'm just sayin'...... And I'm no expert......
  4. You are welcome. You don't have to be quite as.....OCD....about it as the guy in the video is, but it is important to pre-rinse the filter in the Chemex with hot water, then dump that water out, which will pre-heat the glass. I always pre-heat my cup as well. Really nice method, probably the best I've tried so far.
  5. Yea, but with the money I save using the KnuKonceptz over the Mogami, I can have a bottle of 1990 Ch. Petrus every night for dinner....I'm just sayin....... Did you see where a case of Chateau Petrus 1990 vintage sold for $45,938 and 12 bottles of Chateau Petrus 1989 vintage sold for $42,875 during June of this year? Yep whipped out my Amex Black card and grabbed both of those.
  6. Yea, but with the money I save using the KnuKonceptz over the Mogami, I can have a bottle of 1990 Ch. Petrus every night for dinner....I'm just sayin.......
  7. Wow, that is some snow! Be safe. On a brighter note, I'm sure some of you use the Chemex method of brewing your coffee....I've been doing it for about a year now, and really like it, particularly with the darker roasts. Great flavor and smoothness.
  8. KnuKonceptz 12 Karma SS is all I use. http://www.knukonceptz.com/home-theater/speaker-wire/karma-ss-speaker-kable/sp/karma-ss-12-gauge-speaker-wire-100-feet/
  9. 50 degrees, no problem. At 40, I think you're starting to teeter on the edge of issues, particularly if you are running any tubes.
  10. IMHO, 30-35%. However, my wine cellar likes it a bit more "damp"....
  11. Living in northern Indiana, I am lucky enough to have access in my local grocery to quite a number of really, really good coffees that are roasted in Michigan. Here's a few worth mentioning if you ever see them on your shelves...Higher Grounds Coffee (Funky Mamacita and Typhoon Espresso), Kalamazoo Coffee Company (Dark Loretta), Truck Stop Organics (Big Rig Roast). Whole bean of course.
  12. Ah Claude...you are ever the politically correct....photographer.....not to mention a terrific crossover designer.....
  13. OK, thanks for that. Perhaps someone else may chime in here.....
  14. That must be a really large shelf...not sure I would place any nice speakers above my fireplace...
  15. Thank you Bob. Are these relatively rare, worth a few bucks?
  16. Beautiful as usual Justin!! And the larger tubes are ???
  17. Nope, you're not the only one, but then, I don't buy new stuff anyway....
  18. Better question is who anonymously bumped a 2 year old thread? Yea, that too.
  19. Friend sent this to me, not quite sure I understand what it is, considering it has a LS label, and a "K" type code. Looks pretty early too...help?
  20. nada http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/ele/4759866502.html
  21. OMG....off the wall with the 56" .......and away with the wall-o-Klipsch.....this is what I have been looking for.....thanks jimjimbo....lol lol You are very welcome. I like to help wherever I can.
