  1. I didnt see this post... its not a matter if audessy or mcacc will be enough, you need to get in there and manually mix the center via EQ in the settings of your integrated receiver.
  2. I'm listening to Genesis "Selling England by the Pound" on Bluray Audio in 5.1 right this very second... STUNNING with zero issues in timbre and this is critical listening in music... not movies. Much more critical in my mind. But once again, if you run flat, you probably wont like it... EQ it effectively and it works perfectly well. Is it easier to just get the same "line" of speaker... probably. Does it work effectively, absolutely.

    AUDIO HANGOVER

A thing only has monetary value equal to what someone is willing to pay... period. I run into this all the time specially on ebay, where a seller has an item that I am interested in, but it never sells... for weeks or even months. Yet they WILL NOT, budge on price or entertain a legitimate offer I make via back channels.
  4. near field moderate levels... probably okay
  5. I mix Reference with Heritage. you need to use EQ to "mix" the timbre differences.

    AUDIO HANGOVER

why is this in the Garage section... +1 for first world problem. that being said, I get where you are coming from OP. I get around that buyers remorse by doing a LOT of research prior to making an acquisition, and by NOT buying something merely because it's a good deal. If I look at my equipment list... it is VERY SHORT and very concise, and this topic is very much related to my thread in 2+channel: "is it important to remember where you came from"

Smoking deal... I just paid 2500 for a first gen classic 2 and this one is brand new.
  8. slowly I turn... step by step... inch by inch...
  9. the Bay comes thru... took a hit on it, as expected, but I didn't give it away.
  10. some of the reviews on Amazon are not to good either... but you need to take that with a grain of salt. I want one just to say I have it, one of those odd market niche things that Klipsch made that will probably only be around for a couple years, if that.

    What I Got Today!

It took me more than a year, but I finally got a copy at a fair price... not the usual $600+ they ask for.
  12. One call has them... 1499. I have seen a couple come up used also... about that same price, they never sell.
  13. Ive been looking at them. I want one but I am having difficulty getting past the msrp.... even at the street price. I'd probably be a buyer, used of course, at $999 or so.
  14. Looks like an amazing deal to me...
