Hoping for some help. I’ve got a brand new set of Nines. Suddenly they just quit. Won’t play from the turntable or Bluetooth or aux. No sound at all. Bluetooth connects. LEDs are all working.

I’ve tried updates through the app. I’ve downloaded the firmware update and uploaded via USB. Still nothing.

    Suggestions? Solutions?

Hi Curt, welcome to the Forum.

I am not familiar with the Nines but there may be some on here who are.

In the meantime I would start a customer service ticket as a back up.

For Klipsch history my 9th grade Science teacher,Sam Brian. retired from the National Bureau Of Standards and would sneak PWK in at night to make measurements and changes to the khorns. He offered to help me build a pair but what 9th grader is smart enough to take that offer. Still kicking myself.

Were the Khorns at Hope High School Somewhere?

Will any books be available for sale later for those who missed the kickstarter?

The Museum purchased a few extra (less than a dozen) for sale in the Gift Store.

At a future date there are plans for another version with the identical content.

Hello! My brother passed away 22 years ago, and I have been holding on to his wonderful standing speakers, keeping them in storage all this time. I was going to keep them, but they are so big, and Im getting older and think it best to sell them to a goood home. I am not sure what they are worth or where to start. Can someone give me some guidance so I have a price point, and a platform from which to sell? I would appreciate any info / help you could give me. Thanks so much, Kelly

The model and some photos would be the first step

I sent a pm to Travis. Hopefully he can help you out.

Thanks for letting me know. I don’t have access to that level to be able to assist unfortunately otherwise I would be happy to help out.

I have sent a PM to @Chad to ask him to take a peek over here to see what he can do.

  7. Welcome to the Forum. 46 years, that’s quite a history.

I think the knowledgeable folks here can help you isolate the source of the distortion from home so that all you need to do is arrange for those parts.

I believe the first thing that will be suggested by @Deang and others is to make sure all of the connections are tight and secure. Then they will have you make sure that the distortion is from the speaker and not an amp by having you switch the speaker wires from left to right and right to left.

From there they will help you identify which driver(s) are the culprit, and from there whether there are replacement parts available (diaphragms) or if a complete driver/woofer replacement is required.

We have several forum members down under who may be able to help with a knowledgeable dealer or the distributor down there when/if it comes to that.

Photos of the backs of your speakers will also help, along with photos of the crossovers and connect strips with screws.

Wouldn’t happen to still be available?

He doesn’t have a way to respond to you.

No picture.  But they did cheapen the looks of a lot of the Heritage series.  From the Klipschorn down to the Fortes.

I can’t figure out what this post is in reference to. I think this is the second or third time I have seen the almost exact verbiage posted by you across two or three threads.

    What’s up?

  10. Should I pin this to the top so it can be referenced/referred to with similar questions?

I believe some of you have answered that question multiple times.

Or just let it slide on down.
