  1. Oj was a 1/1 is he still in HOF or that could be a trick question too, but as far as I know still in the Hall.Ding Ding Ding! People in Austin pretty much allknow that the Tyler Rose is a 1/1 and in the Hall Who the heck is Tyler Rose? So 50s, a guess, Doalk Walker. Good guess on Doak from 1948, but I was going for a Notre Dame man. Earl "The Tyler Rose" Campbell He won the trophy, I have seen his and the school's, he is in the hall of fame, I just don't know for sure if Houston had a No. 1 pick when they drafted him.
  2. That doesn't even take into consideration the effect that bullying can have. It's rampant with kids. I had to get involved in a situation with my youngest daughter once for just such a circumstance. I have had people imitate my niece that I had to get involved in, other situations as well, there are a lot of very strange things on there. If you are in a law suit it is the first place that attorneys check.
  3. Yes indeed. It is toxin to a dox and there is no predictability as to what is lethal either by the amount of the chocolate or the weight of the dog.
  4. I haven't looked it up yet. I bet Archie Griffith from Ohio State is one (he won two) and the other, maybe Hershall Walker, GA? +++ Edit: OK, I just looked it up. It seems I'm as good at answering the Heisman question as I am picking pre-season #1 teams. +++ The ultimate trick Heisman question would have been "how many juniors have won?" That's a trick question because the 2005 winner Reggie Bush voluntarily gave up the trophy due to the scandal of his agent giving him money and gifts, so instead of giving the trophy to someone else the winner was vacated. +++ Can you name any of the 3 Heisman Trophy winners who were picked #1 overall in the NFL draft AND are NFL Hall of Famers? The first guy won in 1956, the next guy in the '60's, the last guy in the '70's. Oj was a 1/1 is he still in HOF or that could be a trick question too, but as far as I know still in the Hall. 5. I haven't looked it up yet. I bet Archie Griffith from Ohio State is one (he won two) and the other, maybe Hershall Walker, GA? I have not looked yet either, but I think Archie Griffin won it as a Jr and Sr, unless maybe he didn't redshirt freshman year and they consider that a soohmore? My recollection is that all of the Sophmores and the Freshman were in about the last 10 years. Lately the Heisman has been a curse, a ticket to big, big early money and a quite, thus far, disappointing early start. The only Sophmores I think I can name is Tim Tebow.
  6. Actually it is Flipboard. You create yiur own interests, your own magazine if you want. Here is an example. FBI to launch new system to count people killed by police officers http://flip.it/FmHKn
  7. I will give it a try nut I think I will still prefer flipster, There is too much "noise" on facebook for me.
  8. +1 on that, except he is a Sophmore so there is that. Broke Barry Sanders' record for total all purpose yards, nearly 6.yars per carry, 41 receptions, and a red letter day for the final game of the season.
  9. Welcome to the forum, Be sure and check this out if you haven't already. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/147255-jubilee-kpt-khj-lf-k402-kpt-k402-fact-sheets/#entry1673764
  10. How do you check news on facebook? Do you join different news outlets?
  11. I have, and I have always liked it.
  12. Nevermind, saw something else.
  13. I think they have had issues with "parts" in the past. Some parts they will only sell you if you provide serial numbers of your speakers, people were buying their parts to make DIY speakers. They really are not in the parts business, but they do need to maintain parts, at least for awhile, to make their current stuff, etc. Then I assume they keep around what they have left over when things get changed, discontinued. Once they are gone, they are gone. When Klipsch does send parts do they give you a tracking number? They have not done that when I ordered parts in the past, including large horns.
  14. Great post. Chad and Alex have posted about that on numerous occasions, as did Amy before them. Alex has said if you run into a dead end he would be happy to help someone get in the right direction. Badges isn't the best example to go with. They are frequently not available, long gone, etc., but I would certainly want to start with Klipsch to see if they had them before an alternate source. Maybe Klipsch likes their customer service employees to take time off this time of year because it is historically slow, who knows. 20 mins on hold is unacceptable, the only people who will wait that long are people dealing with cable, water, utilities service or calling in to a court to pay a ticket, something you have to do. Do they offer an alternative to waiting on hold, an email address? An option to have a return call? Some people are just wired where they cannot get off the phone. They think they wait just one more minute they will answer, kind of like one more dollar in the slot machine. Do they give an estimated wait time? Do they update you where you are in the queue? I think it is important that they be made aware if there is a problem (I don't mean design issues) such as customer service. From what I have seen in the past they have responded to any problems very quickly.
  15. So is this similar to the way the fobs work on a Lexus? Unique electronic ID? If it fails it fails locked? Also has a regular key so if there is a fire?
  16. Loved these videos, pilot to pilot, you should be a CFI if you are not already."Other than that, have a nice day." Duster Duty from here on out, pretty much includes the Nevada move ina year and a half too. Got gigged just last month for flying too close to SacMetro (Surounded by Farms). Fortunately, I have avoided that, known plenty that have, and listened to plenty of audio of that happening.
  17. Yaa, eh? The last two episode have just seem to drag on, and on. Maybe it is because of how netflix has us watching series, they release all at once and we watch in binges.

  19. Morning. Trying to figure out why Fargo has been dragging in my mind.
  20. Had no idea it was all defined and the sunject of philosophers. "In On Bullshit, the philosopher Frankfurt (2005) defines bullshit as something that is designed to impress but that was constructed absent direct concern for the truth. This distinguishes bullshit from lying, which entails a deliberate manipulation and subversion of truth (as understood by the liar)."
  21. Just started reading the actual journal article. Funding by a Canadian Government science council, now that is pretty funny.
  22. The article reviewing the study was excellent. "Those who are more receptive to what the authors term as “bullshit” tend to be both less reflective and less intelligent than their peers."
  23. Happy Belated Birthday, I hope it was a great one.
