  1. If anyone makes it downtown with a sweet tooth go to 16th & Capital. Crawfords Deli & Bakery Long's Bakery has very good & cheap doughnuts too, near 16th and White River. Any other questions?.....just ask.
  2. In grade school after lunch the cooks would set out a huge tray of cookies for dessert for the grand price of 5 cents each.
  3. That sure is a shocker hearing about all the overweight kids and people in general. On our local Disney radio station they play songs trying to get the kids motivated. A young girl called in one day trying to win something and the radio host asked what she had done all weekend. The young girl said she spent the entire weekend watching tv. Can you say: "serious health problems later in life"
  4. I think the naked dude is trying to say..."Give me some skin, Man!"
  5. Our local dealer sells Rotel and B&W together. The 803's are an amazing speaker.
  6. The detail heard through the horns is absoloutely amazing! I'm trying the Paradigm Studio series now at home along w/Klipsch and there is "such" a difference in sound. Now that I've read this thread it's time to think about some RF7's for a few minutes.
  7. Hey Ear, For sure it ought to be an instant Felony for causing hardship to others.
  8. High capacitance....? Running hot flat out...? I dont understand this. Does it mean when a cable is made up of much smaller individual cables inside it may restrict the flow? Really, I would like to hear from someone....I'm not too electronically minded. Thank You!

  10. Well Meuge.... The picture has sure been an eye opening experience for me. I spent the last 10 years working in a hospital and maybe thats why it has such an impact with me.....? I've been telling people about the difference in what I see and it is amazing to say the least.
  11. Max, That is one of those beautiful speakers I would never get tired of looking at! big bucks...can you say big bucks?
  12. I heard about that assassination attempt.....why in the world would anybody want to do that.....geeesh Fini, That avatar reminds me of the movie Calendar Girls. Very well executed movie. Not at all like "other" calendar girls.
  13. Why not have a nice young Pope without all the health problems?
  14. Every now and then one of those Whoppers are delicious And after they redesigned their fries they were even better. My favorite is mexican food!---rice beans salad and of course chips with cheese dip and salsa. Not Taco Bell or any of the new commercialized places either, the really small resturants where the people really do speak Spanish. American food?...it's ok I guess....good for old people
  15. 420...? ......Hey does anyone know how long after the meal the blood was drawn for those samples?...THANK YOU!
  16. My brother and his wife smoke cigerettes and pot daily. His wife tells me "her grandmother lived to be 90+ and she smoked, drank whiskey and ate greasey food daily too"! I wonder how long after eating, those blood samples were taken? I didnt realize your blood could change like that....always thought it just stayed a pretty blue/inside and red/outside color.

  20. Ken, My boss authorized the use of 3/4" copper pipe one time to save money. Sounds like a shotgun when it lets go P.S. ....Do Not Do This!
  21. Pretty funny Michael! Enjoy the HK 430........I bet it would sound great with my 4.2's
  22. John, Glad to hear you are happy with Deans upgrade. I had him do my old 4.2's and they will be staying for a while longer now. Enjoy!............Pat
  23. Let me at it, I'll trade my 2039+ for one of those any day. ................. ..................
  24. Hi David, I bought my 4.2's about the same time and have always had them hooked up to Denon. The background is dead quiet with clear highs and plenty of pounding bass. Recently had the crossover's redone and it made a difference for the better. When it's time to make a change it may be one of those class A integrateds or something with tubes. Also thought about solid state or tube mono-block's. If another reciever is what I was going for it would be Harmon Kardon or Marantz. I've not heard either one with the 4.2's though but figure either would be a safe bet.
