I was just browsing the Klipsch website and noticed their plate is really full with the huge new line of Home Theatre speaker systems and the Palladiums. Are there any regulars using those Palladiums ? I wonder if they are tube friendly like the Heritage series, that P-37 is a killer looking little floorstanding speaker. Oh well, maybe some day Santa will bring me a pair.[]
My new Peach is q_____u_____i_____e_____t as a church mouse.
Anyone considering tubes and Klipsch should not be disappointed if it sounds like mine. Boy, am I lucky, []
" I " know you will enjoy that Preamp when it returns, USNRET.
That Tube Head Pre was strongly being considered as well as some older units but for new it looks hard to beat. On the flip side I did just land my first tube preamp called a peach from juicy music. I totally look forward to giving it a try when I put the tubes in it.
It never hurts to keep a resume updated. Speaking of which I had planned to do just that this weekend because I have had much secure jobs in the past like a hospital and the State Dept, now I work for a legal gambling establishment.Just last week a contractor that has been in the beer vending business for 11 years say's when times get tough people seem to drink more. ???
"How long?"
It wasn't very long for me maybe just a few weeks. I will say it sure did make a change to my RF-7's and especially helped my 4.2's. Of course I never experimented much with changing the amp or sources etc.
Should this work out I may be looking for someone to upgrade or modify this unit in the future. I'll be darned if I can remember the model but I used to have one of the big old monster Kenwood receivers many years ago. There were many toggle switches and a few controls I never did understand for what purpose they served.
Ah, just noticed you mentioned "APS".
Do a Klipsch forum search of crossover/network upgrades by one of the members around here, they are appreciated by many. I've heard both the LaScalas briefly and they seem like quite different speakers.
