  1. I hear 'ya Clarence but it's more the lack of respect, especially considering my ongoing generosity (up to this last point).
  2. Clarence, how would you deal with a sibling who stole from your checking account causing you to overdraw your account, and then doesn't admit it?
  3. You will have to share now that word is out. Otherwise OB will never let you forget it!
  4. If you are looking for something to do Michael, I have three words for 'ya: Hammer of Thor!
  5. Man how I miss this guy! Local hero here, he still sets the standard for his genre.
  6. I'm sure Jeff won't mind my answering for him since he is busy on the project. The insane cornwall system is in another room, probably helps him stay sane during the project!
  7. I seem to recall that there were 40 available from these guys of the 60 A/P edition. That your numbers are 21 and 22 means you must have been the first to order. We are up to nine claimed so far.
  8. Don't know if any are left. There were 40 available and I figured most should go to those of us on the forum, hence the question. Try here and see if you can get one:http://www.drowningcreek.com/00_main_frame/00_main_frame.html
  9. Don't forget to sell content for your gear. Specialize in the more "audio/videophile" stuff that is harder to find elsewhere locally.
  10. You might (big maybe) get close with say $100 more of a budget, depending on shipping, and get a decent enough pair. Good luck.
  11. Nice work Jeff. So pretty soon there will be another sound blasting burger eating get together? Your last one was fantastic!
  12. nice work! To be clear for me, there is beadboard on the outside of the foam next to the cardboard box for reinforcement? I like.
  13. How many people here have ordered the 60th anniversary Klipsch 8 color silk screen poster, of which 40 were available? I'll start by claiming an order for 1.
  14. Am I hard enough? Am I rough enough? Am I rich enough, I'm just too blind to seee........ All of the above lists are right on. I saw them live in '82? at the Cotton Bowl, thought they sounded better live than in studio.
  15. Same here. Funny thing is, the website tells me there are NO people in the United States with my last name. This despite the fact that there is a popular TV Preacher that shares my last name (but is not related). And about a year ago I discovered that there is a kid in Texas that shares my first and last name. He plays in a band. Up until then, I was pretty sure that I was the only one with my first and last names. Hey Oldtimer, I see you're in Texas. Do you play in a band??? Not for a long time WS. Of course I'm not a kid anymore either.....I find a certain amount of satisfaction in being off of at least ONE database in this country.
  16. I don't exist. "There are 0 people in the United States with this name."
  17. Mine came up Inland North, although no one ever confuses me as being from Chicago, probably because I don't call it "melk" instead of "milk".
  18. Theme from Burnt Weeny Sandwich--Frank Zappa.
  19. Keep up the good work Cal, glad to see you back.
  20. I think it has to do with design and build quality. I have a pair of Forte II's that have been urethaned and maybe are stained a little darker if anyone ever wants to swap for original oiled oak.
  21. Looks like our friend leerocker has found his center, congrats!
  22. Those Forte II's will sound a lot better with more optimum placement.
  23. I had no problems shipping a Nakamichi tape deck to Seattle and back using them, but I was right on top of the deal to make sure I was satisfied with the job.
