These days, when I see the word Alabama, I think of seeing this group for the first time on this night on Letterman. Alabama Shakes.

Nicely done. Yeah, the MQA unfolding process is confusing.

I have heard many good things about the Raspberry pi over the years.

If no joy on the Forte 1's, how about a pair of KG4's, up on Facebook? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2845336712390957/?ref=search&referral_code=undefined

Though this old Epic brochure might be floating around here somewhere, I'll just throw it up again. http://images.klipsch.com/Brochure_940900_epic_635164772854408000.pdf

So, have you tried a CF2 in between as a center channel, either upright or flipped onto its side to test.

See if this guy would ship. The price is right. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/ele/d/vista-klipsch-rc-center-channel-speaker/7279122262.html

Just to clarify, are the pics showing the horn and driver from a KV-4 and CF2?

I'm glad you liked it. 😀 It got a laugh out of me too when I wrote it.

Sometime tomorrow, there will be a landing of a rover on Mars. They have 7 1/2 minutes to go from 12,000 mph to 0 to arrive safely. The vid has a quick animation of what they hope will happen and without a hitch of course.

It seems some Texans are a bit peeved by the loss of power. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9266809/Deep-freeze-paralyzes-Texas-knocks-power-grid.html

I've seen hundreds of speakers over the years, many of which were very striking. There was a speaker that when I saw it for the first time at a showroom, just captured the eye with its sweeping lines. That would be The Usher BE-20's. It sounded quite good too. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649696374-usher-be-20-diamond-dmd/images/3068588/

I've posted this pic before. This is my Velodyne SMS, which does bass management for my two subs. Here is a pic of non EQ'd bass sweeps being run through the Epic CF3's. The mic is about 2 feet away in front of one speaker. You can see a strong bass signal gradually falling from about 32hz, but still putting out plenty of bass below that.

Just wondering, wouldn't those Forte's do a little better further from the wall and toed in a bit?

Whoa, what a road trip. 🚚 Great Score!👍 Nice pics too.

Not being particularly savvy in regards to doing glue jobs on wood. I might first, if you have large enough wood clamps, clamp the crap out of the problem area and play music and see if its 100% a glue seal issue, if that would even work of course. The next thing I might try is to remove the front baffle, which is easier as its screwed on as you have read. See if you can access the problem area that way and lay some glue down in the joint. If that doesn't work, plan C, remove the back and go from there I guess. My two cents.

Man, these Epics are flying off the shelves these days. 👍
