  1. @Dave1291 With all that money floating around I guess you can do things like this: Two things. Harbaugh should still lose his job for reasons on previous pages. Those schools have so much money these days it is criminal to make employees take a 5-10% pay cut for COVID. @DizRotus Its too late for you to jump on the Michigan bandwagon. That ship has sailed without you, and you are not welcome even in steerage class 😉You grew up there, right? You know how it works. You stand by your team Western, Eastern, Tech, MSU, UofM, heck even Adrian (assuming they have a football team) after that we are all united in rooting for an OSU loss. Turn in you mitten credentials at the border and go live in Toledo for the coming year until you straighten up....enjoy the stink down there by the refinery or whatever it is.
  2. All coffee 30% off. They have 10 and 20 percent from time to time, but 30 is rare. Stock up! https://shop.justcoffee.coop/collections/all-coffees
  3. I have a good friend that is PSU alumni, ROTC, 20+ years in the Navy as a pilot. Did the flyover at White Out game a few years back. On field with mascots and captains...invited back in the locker room (no showers) after a victory to whoop it up with the team. After all that he can't summon the strength to give Franklin a 2nd, 3rd...15th chance. PSU will never have an elite level team with Franklin at the Helm according to his frequent texts to *****. I've started to pay attention to clock management and playing it safe once he has a lead the last few years. He (pilot fried) is spot on.
  4. No thanks. He needs to go too. Terrible at managing the clock. Starts to play prevent too soon. Can't recruit a line to protect any of his past, present or future QBs
  5. You are just like my sister and it saddens me. I cheer for MSU every single game of the year except one! UofM could go 2-11 rather than the likely 11-2 they will end up as long as that 2 was vs OSU and MSU and I'd be satisfied. Win or lost against OSU next weekend....Harbauh still needs to go. If you can't beat MSU and OSU on a regular bases as a Michigan coach you are a failure. Period. As a Michigan fan I'm used to losing bowl games so nothing left to play for except to beat OSU. Unlikely, I know but dare to dream.

    HBO's Jagged

Last night I watched HBO's Music Box documentary series titled Jagged about Alanis Morissette. Much better than I expected it to be. The '90s don't seem that long ago but from the music business perspective it may has well been the 1890s. How quickly we (at least I) forget a life before cell phones and the Internet was the norm. Radio stations breaking a new artist, hype in small venues leading to arenas and summer festivals. Music documentaries often show how hard it is to break into the music business. 10X more for a 12 year old girl. Crazy. It was funny/strange to hear that KROQ actually had a policy preventing DJs from playing two female artists back to back. No Doubt and Alanis were mentioned as explicitly prevented. WOW! Taylor Hawkins, her drummer before leaving for Foo Fighters, got a good bit of coverage too. She got so big so fast I seem to recall writing her off as a flavor of the month sort of thing. I vividly recall back in that time of my life dismissing anything, music or otherwise, that was the least bit popular/mainstream. I was quite surprised to learn Jagged Little Pill was the 2nd best selling album of the 90s and 12th all time. Worth the space on your DVR if you already are an HBO subscriber.

    DirecTV?

I can't speak to DirecTV streaming but I have been a DirecTV customer for probably 16 of the last 19 years that I've lived away from the ability to have broadband internet service. Those other three years I had Dish. I've also owned three different houses, apartments too many to count. Prior to DireTV I subscribed to cable TV in at least four states. All the major providers including Comcast. Putting aside cost because it has been so many years, I can emphatically say DirecTV has the best picture quality and sound. Far beyond any previous cable TV I paid for. Very small outages due to weather which are very predictable....look out the window. Unlike cable TV when they seem to go out for no apparent reason. Customer service sucks across the board. Is satellite DirecTV an option?

    Happy Birthday Carl

HBD, man! I predict some good bourbon.... maybe George T.🤔 I'm up tomorrow, fellow Scorpio, but I'm sure you are WAY older than me.
  10. Congrats Sparty. Impressive come back. Hope they do the same to OSU.
  11. Moody just scored 12 points too bad he only nets three. I get the icing thing but three in a row, really?
  12. Again I agree with you Neil. I'm surprised how long they spent on the review.
  13. Agree that Spartans need to keep a fast pace. They had blue on their heels on the opening drive. Then the rest of the first quarter they seem to be in slow motion and Michigan had their number. Once they picked it back up Michigan was struggling
  14. Oh you're just like my sister, Neil. She has been sending me that tired picture all week. Isn't that kid collecting a social security check by now? Looks like we got ourselves a game now. Guess I can stop making nachos and wings and pay attention.
  15. He is miles ahead of you. Bo knows the outcome of the game already no sense in missing the opportunity for a nap. Why stress out when you're playing the Spartans? He's a good couch buddy.
  16. Looks great, protected a bit. Like the 25 washer stack....simple and effective.

    What I Got Today!

Where do you even start with that?!?! In 2021 if you don't know the answer to that you have not business owning a phone, let along posting things on the Internet. Please don't tell me you have a facebook account and that is where you get ALL you news from.🙄 Please return it and see if you can get your flip phone back. Try this: https://blog.shortpixel.com/9-apps-resize-images-android-device/
  18. What have you done to the room? If nothing start there. I bet it already sounds great. If you want to see if there is more to squeeze out I'd try a DDC like @Fido over replacing the node. 6SN7 pre and FW F3 is a darn good foundation. I'm running similar with Denafrips Venus II. After lots of changes I'm good for a bit.
  19. For future readers on the fence between the 525 and 650 the difference is night and day. The 525s are probably my biggest Klipsch disappointment. The 650s just have so much more of everything. I was concerned about size....never should have bought them. Wish I returned them for another pair of 650. Took this while I was out because the sky is so beautiful. @muel A trick I learned for outdoor mounting. Have enough slack in the speaker wire so it loops down then up to the terminals. You can see it on the right side speaker. It lets all the rain/moisture drip off the lowest point. If you have the wire with a straight shot from up above to the terminals the water will collect on the binding posts. 650s above are sheltered by the deck. These have been pummeled by sun/rain/snow for 10+ years and still going strong. I think I unmounted them and brought them inside one winter, outside the rest.
  20. Here is the wide shot. I think 20-ish by 8.5 is pretty accurate. I can grab a tape measure if you want more accurate info. Speakers are by left window above mermaid and centered at that bump out in the deck above the bush. I can angle them so they sound good at the table, the cement area between deck and pool or in the pool. Again wife thinks I'm silly but it does make a difference....though like I said they always sound good. Not sure how deep your deck is from the mounting wall but if you sit in different areas, just some food for thought about vertical mounting so you can aim them. I've had zero problems with the sound over shooting our heads...but then again it is not like a room that is treated and specifically built for music.
  21. When I had the step ladder test run I tried tweeter up/down when vertical and in/out when horizontal. Walking around the "listening" area I noticed zero difference. So I mounted tweets up so the logo was not upside down. These are not quite as high as yours, about 8.5 feet but they are a lot wider...around 20 feet. I'll post another picture from far away. The deck is 44 feet wide so I think 20-something is about right. These are tweeters up and angled to the concrete area between deck and pool. Not that you can really see the angle. Hard to get an accurate picture with shady overhang, bright sunlight and distance. But I think you get the idea Side bar I absolutely hate the photo policy of Klipsch site. Between resizing photos, limiting the size per post and max you can have on your account it takes about an hour to do what should take 2 minutes....sorry rant off
