  1. Build it quick, that stuff will start to warp big time as it dries out.
  2. >crossing my fingers, hoping it's me< So who is the worst??
  3. Also his prices are Not that great, if shipping any distance is involved..............JMHO. Not my person. it's a not so inside joke. No good if I have to explain it. Of course he's not the guy you would recommend.......noone would recommend getech.
  4. hmm, or 3 LaScalas...or 1 LaScala and 2 heresy's
  5. It's on a Samsung 61" DLP, which is the type of TV I think the stand is made for. It says it's rated for 30 lbs, I think the RC 7 exceeds that by about 11 or so pounds. It almost sounds like a recipe for disaster, but was wondering if anyone has used this product with a RC 7. I get the feeling it's not going to be a good idea.
  6. http://www.goelectronic.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=OMNI+MOUNT+CCH1P&Store_Code=GE Does anyone have any experience with this product supporting a RC 7? My house option has changed AGAIN and now I will be relegated to one family room system. What a freaking year it has been. Thanks in advance. Billy
  7. or just go to Melvin's. Honestly, it's hard to get a whole lot better than that....and the Buffeteria....dammit man that's good stuff. Miss Betty is the bomb in that kitchen.
  8. Thanks, Roc, but I think we all know how to get in touch with getech. []
  9. Did you forget your signature line shows you have two F113's? Business must be slow(er)
  10. I've already spoken with that seller. It's for pick-up only because he doesn't have the original box. I'd gladly pick it up but it's in Illinois and I'm in Colorado. Sort of a long trip. He said he'll order the original box from Klipsch but it will cost $379.42. Plus the shipping costs to have it shipped. I don't really feel like dishing out $400+ just for shipping. Thanks though! for a box? and to think i threw mine away when i moved. i would have sold it fot HALF that.
  11. we're taking the kids up there Thurs-Sat. Nascar Speedpark, Indoor Waterpark (at the hotel), probably Crabby Mikes. SSDD. Drop a grand, come home. My speaker money would be shot anyway
  12. yer killing me man. First it was the THX system, then the THX subs, then the DD 18 and NOW THIS?? Have you no mercy? Have you no sympathy? Have you no way to get them to South Carolina!
  13. also could be the discharge valve on the compressor, or a restriction of some kind in the condenser coil (or in the txv like i had said). It's not unusual for those small fridges to operate in a vacuum on the low side when they are cooling. It's just old man. That's all. I make all sorts of new noises too. It just happens. If your ice cream stays well frozen, it is doing the job. That is the ultimate test of the refrigeration performance since ice cream needs to be around 0 degrees to stay good and hard. Anyway, enjoy your vintage fridge. It's a good one albeit a little whiney.
  14. when refrigerant (known to most as "Freon") is metered it can whistle, gurgle, whine etc. It usually happens when it is low on refrigerant but not always. It could be an expansion valve hanging up a little. It also could be the fan or sumpin. How's your ice cream? Does it stay frozen?
  15. I'm shocked you guys would fall for this
  16. it could be the TXV or whatever metering device is being used. That can cause it to whistle so to speak, of course it could be any number of things. Call the Fridge Dude.
  17. Yeah, he's a big hit on other audio forums also. I'm surprised he hasn't been banned at the Outlaw Saloon. but ya know, he's harmless. He's like the poor loser who hits on a thousand girls and eventually gets a date. note I did not say he (or she) was a loser. I'm sure he's a wonderful human being.
  18. I'm sure you will be at the top of his Dad's list when he's ready to step up. I will say one thing about you getech. You always do a great job of making sure future potential customers will think of you first when they're ready to purchase. Before you start getting all moist, read that I said they will think of you first, not that will actually consider buying anything from you. If you really do currently sell products through your own business, you will be working at Best Buy in the return/exchange department by Christmas.
  19. why not these, the RSW 12 for sale on the forum for $500 and a $500 receiver over a RF 62 package? I would take that over a RF 62 package any day. http://www.acousticsounddesign.com/core/view_BigProduct.cfm?pid=556&sc=27
  20. well, I really have to watch my p's and q's regardless of whether I've had my medicine cuz I've been told point blank that it doesn't matter and that basically that is no excuse for being a little ugly to forum "members" who bash other people's gear in order to try to make a sale. So I will politely point out that he is a horse's patootie in regards to his "sales" tactics but will not attack his character. Back to the topic, for $3500 you could really get off to a great start. That Pioneer receiver has pushed my R7s for over a year now and I have no plans to upgrade the amp anytime soon.
