I'm certainly not an ISF technician, but I was able toget my 50" Sony LCD darn close to 6,500K, improved the gamma, etc. and make all sorts of graphs of color temp, etc. to show my friends too.[] Now I have the equipment needed to calibrate my friends sets and any new sets I may purchase in the near future (yes, I'm looking for another HD set for the family room. My wife is NOT happy about it! [6]) From what I've seen, many of the new sets have the main settings you need to calibrate your set (RGB Gain and Bias) in the regular "User Menu" now. No more need to go into the Service Menu and risk messing things up.

Body Farm, eh? We have sugar beet processing plant a couple miles from our house. At certain times of the year when the wind is out of the East, it can stink like hell. Guess I'll count my blessings from now on. Ahh... we now know the use for the front end loader.... we can use it to carry all of our decrepit old bodies around the farm....sort of like a powered wheel chair? We stayed at Residence Inn last year and it was very nice. IIRC, the room was $99 per night. This year, I got a room there for only $79. I don't know if they dropped their prices or what, but I'm not complaining. [] See you all in Indy!
