  1. Hey Chris, That's ok hopefully someone here will have it a post it. I can find the one for the 8 ohm driver easy but, not the one for the 16 ohm.
  2. Thanks Chris, I was just hoping someone here one somewhere with as many users we have here... Jay
  3. I been using the 16 ohm version for years now and it's time to try a new amp, hence the inquiry about the impedance curve.
  4. Does anyone here have a pic of the impedance curve for this driver? I know it is 16 ohms but, I want to see the curve so I can see where it spends most of its time related to frequency's? Thanks:
  5. I am looking for a flea watt powered amp to try in my tri amped system, it will only be driving the two BMS 16 ohm drivers so power is not an issue. I been listening to my Korneff 45 for years and love it but, I am 63 now and I don't want to pay $600 to replace the EML tubes when they are done. So I am looking for a quality sounding amp that uses cheaper tubes. I like what I have read about these two amps plus what I have read about the 71a tube amps... So contact me with pics, price, and details... Found no longer looking thanks.... Jay
  6. Ok thanks for the reply I was just curious, as I run a 45 amp as well...
  7. Just curious if you are sold on the 45 tube why the sale? Are you going to another 45 amp, if so which one?
  8. I currently own a pair of khorns modded with the Volti audio horns and BMS 2" drivers and Fostex 90A tweeters, 2 channel only. I also have a pair of Forte II's doing duty in my surround sound system, they were once used in my vintage system that I no longer have. I did have a pair of Cornwall II's years ago but sold them...
  9. I have quite a few of these that I am thinking about selling, PM me with your wants???
  10. I been using two SVS 12" subs with my khorns for years now, at 500 Watts RMS each in a small room they do the job perfectly!!!
  11. The one that sounds the best to your ears!!!
  12. According to this statement, is the reason I went full active. Now I have the best of both worlds SET and SS running my highly modded Khorns....
  13. Last time I checked they were $600 for s pair of the solid plates...
  14. Ok great I am curious where do you buy your 6j5 tubes from? I use an adapter with my 6j5 tubes in my pre amp and also with the 6F8G tubes in my amp, works and sounds fantastic!!!
  15. Hey Seti, Glad to see someone running the 6J5GT tubes. I been running them for a couple years now as a replacement for the 6SN7 tubes in my pre amp. I also run the 6F8G tubes in my amp as drivers for the 45 tubes in my Korneff amp. I would love to talk with you more about the 6J5 tubes...
  16. Yes the treatment will do wonders for the sound in a small room, as for the difference between closed in backs and false corners I can not speak. I have never had the false corners...
  17. I have had a 300B amp and a 2A3 amp and both were really nice sounding amps, when I got my 45 amp everything changed the amp journey was over and still is. My Korneff 45 amp sounds better than any other amp I have ever heard in my system and that's why it stays!!!
  18. My advice is to completely enclose the backs of khorns, then you will be able to adjust them toe in/out as you like. My khorns are in a small room almost the same size as yours and with room treatment and some EQ and closed backs they sound fantastic!!!
  19. My system is all active and using one amp that produces 1 wpc, another amp is at 2 wpc, and the speakers are 118db padded down to about 108 db.... The sound quality is excellent!!!
