  1. Welcome to the forum. Take a look at MonoPrice, make sure those speakers aren't over 10# each and you should be good. Another brand is Omni Mounts but you will be spending more money for those. James
  2. I would be in for one possibly two, SS polo would be great in blue or black. Would like to see some examples first also the classic logos, PWK or the old Klipsch with the V under it. James
  3. Last summer at Home Depot two guy pulled up in a Ford Explorer and said, "we got a extra high end ht speaker setup from work, wanna take a look." Without turning around I said nope, they just drove down the next isle and stopped some other guy and he was taking a look, I just drove off. James
  4. I believe it was the first week of Feb. per the Klipsch Heritage Reference Data. (look at the end of page 6) James KLIPSCH HERITAGE TYPES Codes Forum.pdf KLIPSCH HERITAGE TYPES Codes Forum.pdf
  5. Great to hear that you are happy with your new setup, post some pictures when you can. That is BS, all that matters is that you are happy with your setup and can enjoy listening all over again. James
  6. As Rich Guy mentioned the 75ohm difference, also wire thickness, CL2 rating, and more robust RCA connectors. At least that's what the web site said, under the "Knowledge Base" tab. James
  7. Take a look HERE for starters... James
  8. Jon, Congrats on the new speakers, Chris is correct about the stamped serial number. James
  9. Correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't the Heresy II front mount the speakers so the back don't come off. James
  10. I believe that Apple doesn't support FLAC and the Apple Loosless is similar. That is just a guess since I don't have any Apple products. I hear you on that, I also don't own or purchase Apple products for gf or myself. When my gf wanted an mp3 player 5 years ago I purchased a Samsung and she has been happy with it since. It comes along when we fly and I even used it for work, the radio tuner was great to have. If this is how you feel then you should go with the product that you like best. That Cowon looks good and with the S4 still comes in under $250 and you have 16 gb of storage. James
  11. Has anyone used Wicked Good Charcoal Natural Hardwood? What are your thought on it? James
  12. MonoPrice, I never had any problems with them... James
  13. The Apple iPod Nano fit the bill, with features almost identical to the ones you mentioned. Plus they come in different colors. $139 + shipping I hear you on that, plus they are getting really good reviews, Klipsch S4. $79 w/ free shipping Then with the BitHead amp. $159 You are looking at a total of $385, so you can spend the extra money on Cd's or vinyl. Now I don't own an apple products but a few friends do and they love them. Plus like Bill mentioned above, Apple lossless is a great way to store music. James
  14. Yea something doesn't sound right about that pair. I have Custom 3's and love the music that is produces, even with my BB phone, once I get the proper seal. James
  15. I did for an old cell phone, wasn't bad and since I always carried my cell phone it made it at lot easier. I'm sure the other formats are better. How much are you looking to spend on the storage device? James
  16. Great to hear and didn't forget measure twice cut once. I believe I used solid oak and just a simple design that fits the entire space that I had available. I didn't have the tools but a buddy does so he was able to cut everything for me and I was just marking letters on the pieces and he cut them. Got everything home and stained the pieces to get close to my cherry RF-83's and then assembled. I did leave the last tier off and purchased the wood a few months later to finish it off. I didn't think that I would need all 5 to begin with but I was wrong. Good luck and do post some pictures when it is finished. James
  17. I was in the same situation a few years back and had my eyes on the Boltz storage units. Then after looking at the space that I had for the storage unit it would not work. I ended up just making a 6 tier DVD/CD storage out of wood that fit the space exactly. I can get 100 Cd's and a little less for DVD's per shelf and it is full. I stained the wood a cherry stain and it came out good and fits my needs. Do you have the means to build something yourself? James
  18. Make sure you set up video of this before you start, I want to see this from start to finish... James
  19. I have the same TT and arm, I purchased a Shure M97xE and have been very happy with it. I currently have it connection with a Mac C28, MC2105 and Corns, I've had this setup for a year Now this is my first endeavor into TT and my first cart so I have nothing to compare it to but man, it sure does sound good. James
  20. Rick, what format do you currently storing your music in? Just asking since it would be easier, for you, to find something that supports that format and you can change to another at a later time. James
  21. Sorry for the side track a little.. Bill, why did you say not to waste your time and money on Grado and Zune? Also, you have Beats by Dre, which ones and how do you like them? I have seen some reviews and was thinking about picking a pair up. How fast do you run thru the batteries, since they only work with batteries. My current headphones are Custom 3, for in-ear, and Grado SR60. Thanks, James
  22. So, any pictures of this nice trip? Sounds like you really had a lot of fun. Are you thinking about planning another trip? How much do gas prices change along the way? James
  23. Sounds like a great time... I hope I remember and I'm able to make it next year. James
