  1. Welcome to the forum. You can contact Klipsch to see if they have any or Bob Crites here on the forum. Here is his web site with prices and information on what he has to offer. You can also keep an eye out in the "Garage Sale" area, just in case they pop up there. James
  2. Welcome to the forum.... A little search turns up the product page and on that is the manual for the SW line of subs. All you need is a single RCA cable running from you receivers "Sub Out" to the input on the sub. Then go thru your receivers menu and make sure you have it setup with the sub on. You could turn the volume all the way up on the SW-450 and set the xover at 80. That will all depend on what you have your main speakers set at and how you like your bass. Setup can be different for everyone so set it up where it sounds good to you. After a while you can change it and see if you like it better, that is half the fun about all this... Have fun and post some pictures of your setup when you can. James
  3. Have a Happy and Safe Holiday everyone in the snow storm, ice storm or just a sunny day.... [<)] [G] James
  4. I have to agree that $900 is a terrific price for the C27 and MC2105. I paid a little more then that for my C-28 and MC2105 so pick them up as soon as you can. You can either email Terry or call him and ask what the ballpark figure would be to get an ideal. I did and will be heading down to hand deliver my Mac gear to Terry along with a few other pieces in a month or two. James
  5. Sorry that no one has a comment on your question. While I don't have anything really to say to this matter. I really think it comes down to the people that do use the amp are using it with the KW-120. I would say if you do have the KA-1000 to go ahead and try it out on something else and report back how you like it. Also, do you have your RF-82 built into the wall? How do they sound? Do you have any pictures the your setup to post? James
  6. Here is the code so you can found out which ones you have exactly. It also has all the information on what the components should be inside of your speaker, if everything is still original. James KLIPSCH HERITAGE TYPES Codes Forum.pdf
  7. Yea Win, I remember when you had the Mac and Corns going, you wrote about the great pairing. That got me started really looking into getting some for my Corns. I ended up finding a MC2105 and C-28 local at a great price and have been happy ever since. James
  8. I just wanted to say that I love my Cornwall and McIntosh combo.... [Y] Here are a few sites that you can look at pricing, but remember these sites include the items being checked and fixed so they should be a little more then what you pay. Are the cabinets the original ones? That can add to the cost also, but depending on the price it can be a great thing that this person is local and you don't have to worry about shipping. Has the person ever had these unit checked out? Audio Classics McIntosh Audio Here are some sites that are good to have for information about McIntosh. Berner's Site Roger Russell James
  9. Congrats on the new speakers..... [H] What are you hooking them up to? Don't you know that we need pictures of speakers to satisfy our eyes in situations like this.... [] James
  10. Only other comment really was when I seen that AP only had 19 yards since I didn't see any of the game I couldn't believe it. Doesn't do me any good since I don't like either team. Were did I say it wasn't? Open forum... Don't care for Indy either. James
  11. WOW, 26 to 7 with a backup quarterback at the wheel, that has to sting a little. James
  12. I say go with the false wall and slide out shelves. Like you said, you will be able to hide all your wires behind it and the shelves will still give you access to the back of the equipment. I don't know how often you switch things out but if you do or want to on the fly this will be great. I also like the ideal of not making it as wide to have room for the CD's and DVD's. So I guess go with everything that you said.... [] James
  13. Gary, That is an outstanding room you have..... [H] Would love to see the construction pictures when you post them. Also what equipment do you have in the room, amps, speakers, screen, projector? James
  14. Yes..... Was there something else you wanted to say besides my name? James I think this was confirming that the "both" was referring to you James. So now I'm two people.... Wow, I didn't know that. James James, for the other me
  15. Dtel, You talking to me... You talking to me..... (in my best fake De Niro voice, j/k for course) James
  16. Yes..... Was there something else you wanted to say besides my name? James
  17. Darylomer12, I believe that comment was toward Rick V and myself. To him for his placement of the speakers and to me for saying that they are fine in that location. But like my comment posted above, if some people would read the reason for the situation, they would not have to comment on his speaker location. James
  18. I would say go for it... Plus any chance that you can set the Heresy up in another room for 2-channel only? If not then you should be fine but will have to max out the C-2 to hear dialog for HT use with the Heresy mains. Your rear speakers and sub are fine, plus it would give you something to look forward to upgrading to. Believe me, you are going to want to upgrade the more you stick around here. Remember that if you like the sound that is all that matters, so go and take a listen and see how you like them. Do report back once you have them and post some pictures. [] James
  19. Man sorry to hear, at least you have the problem identified and getting it worked on. Will it be fixed before the holidays? James
  20. Welcome to the forum.... Without knowing what your other speakers are it would be hard to tell how things will sound. But in a very short answer, no. The Heresy will be a better improvement over the F-1 for music without a doubt. If you have a 5.1 HT setup you can piece together a Heresy one as time and money allows and use what you currently have in the mean time. James
  21. Very nice looking 930 with the cabinet..... [H] I have one sitting here that isn't working but plan on taking to get DeWicked in the near future. It doesn't have the wood cabinet but does have a little brother, my 730, and I love it. James
  22. That is very cool to see indeed but are you sure that's his locker as he is standing more in front of the other one, just saying... Does the new stadium have any Klipsch speakers in it? James
  23. another vote for the RC-62 but I don't think Future Shop carries it. James
  24. Thanks for your suggestion but I am fine.... James
