  1. Like so. The rack is out of the way and frees up a ton of space. It's not pictured but I now currently have 3 UM18-22's right in the middle between the two LS's. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  2. If possible I would wall mount the TV above the LS. Have a custom in-wall rack for all your components or in a closet or room that you're not using. Then depending on how much room you have up front, I would do 4 subs up front, 2 on each side of the center La Scala. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  3. I would stick with all 3 LS II's up front. I once had a pair of Cornwalls along with a pair of LS's. The Cornwalls are big! Bigger (taller) than the LS's. I kept the LS's and sold the Cornwalls. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  4. Yes they are that's why I'm looking at the rb-81ii. I'll test it out this weekend and see how it sounds. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  5. I have a pair of rp-280f for fronts and a rp-450c for center. The rp-450c imo is NOT voice matched to the rp280s. It sounds way too small. I'm wondering if the rb-81ii would be a better match? Thoughts? Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  6. Sounds like it could be blown? Mine sounds nothing like what you described. Maybe someone with more experience can chime in. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  7. Wow, even the rc64ii... Then the only option is to run another rp280 for center duty. Then again, who has the room and it wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  8. Just my opinion, but even the 450C doesn't match the 280s. The 450c still sounds "tinny" and "small." If I had to do it again I'd step it up to a rc7 or rc64ii. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  9. Yup! Before buying my Forte's from the previous owner he played a few tracks and the bass was amazing! I thought he had a sub playing to. When I brought it home and had it setup the bass was non-existent! It sucked! Lol... Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  10. Or it could just be the room it's in...? I have a pair of Klipsch rp-280s in my bedroom and they also lack bass. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  11. How would you compare The Sixes to the 75's sound wise? Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  12. If The Fifteens sound anywhere close to La Scalas I'm sold on them. They look mighty darn sexy! Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  13. I thought about buying The One, and then found out about The Three, then The Sixes, and now The Fifteens! What a time to be alive! Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  14. Buy the biggest your wallet allows you to. 6" woofers vs. 8". You decide. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  15. When are the 7iii and 64ciii supposed to come out? Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  16. I haven't checked but I know they're set to small. I won't be able to check because I am out of the country. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  17. I've had mine for only a couple of days and so far I'm loving it. It is mated to a Marantz nr1403. Room environment plays a huge role in how it sounds. I first had them setup in my living room for initial testing and listening and it was nice, well balanced & smooth sound. Not much bass though. I then moved them into my bedroom, which it replaces a pair of Fortes and it was extremely bright. Still no bass, but it was overwhelmingly bright. Audyssey has tamed a lot of the brightness and harshness. This brightness was also present with the Fortes before Audyssey. Brighter and "thinner" than the rp-280f's. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  18. Btw, both setups were with Audyssey off. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  19. The boxes was sitting at my front door when I got home from work. On to the pictures. Initial impressions vs the La scalas (living room): Not as deep and wide/huge sounding. Has better treble clarity. Smooth and crisp. Bass takes it over the La Scala. However La Scala has it beat in every other category. Initial impressions vs Forte 1 (master bedroom): Deeper and wider sound stage. Bass is a lot deeper and hits harder than the Forte's. Bright just like Forte's. That's it for now. There's a huge sound difference from my living room to my bedroom. Living room setup: Marantz sr6011 Emotiva XPA-5 2nd gen Nvidia Shield Bedroom: Marantz nr1403 Computer All files played were flac or .wav. That's it for now. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  20. Your room is about the same size as my bedroom and I just placed an order for a pair of rp-280f's and a rp-450c center channel. I'll give my feedback when I receive them. I currently have a set of Forte I's in that same room I am going to do an A/B comparison between them. The plan is to move the Forte's into the garage/man cave and keep the more modern Reference Premieres in the house. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
