  1. Craig Never heard your thoughts on the 6H30 shootout. You have a preference? I just bought a Blueberry Extreme and I am going to A/B it with my Mac C-11 with all Tele's. Kevin
  2. Don Are you going to sell your old Blueberry since you now have two? Kevin
  3. Thanks, but I'm going out of town Friday morning early and won't be back to Arkansas until Sunday. Maybe next trip... Kevin
  4. It was me- I needed Gilberts Cornwall brought to Arkansas. Looks like I'm a day late and a dollar short, I just got back from a week in Orlando with the kids, so I haven't been on. Thanks for the offer. Maybe someone else will be coming this way soon. Kevin
  5. Some good ones! Gonna be tough to pick Amy...
  6. That would be great, just let me know and I'll meet you across the border! K
  7. Louis For your initiation into the Forum you have to pick up my Cornwall from Gilbert outside of San-An-Tone and bring it to Hot Springs for me. What weekend would be good for you? [] Kevin
  8. Ian I will be out of town all next week but after that I will be over for some Q. Road trip to Dees may be inevitable... Film at 11:00
  9. I have a pair of Walnut KG4's that I bought new at Modern Music in Memphis in the early 80's. I now use them with KG1's for a surround system. I love them and have had a lot of compliments on their sound. I have been thinking of bringing my Heresies upstairs to replace the 4's but just can't seem to do it... Great speaker for the footprint and price.
  10. I bought a pair of Tungsol greyplate 6550 tubes, and one of the side getter rings has detached and is rolling around in the tube. How will this affect performance? Should I return to the seller? Thanks Kevin
  11. Ian, you went to Hope and didn't get my Shorthorn? Then you could have driven to San Antonio and picked up my Cornwall from Gilbert? What were you thinking??? []
  12. now Ian, if I can just get my Cornwall from Gilbert, my Shorthorn and other auction items from Jims office in Hope, and my 5.1 control box from Dee I will be thru for a minute! KG
  13. Two years ago I bought a pair of 1957 NOS greyglass Genalex KT66 tubes in original pkg. Perfect, they came out of an amp kit that hadn't been built. I have been using my 6l6GC RCA's and have never rolled them. So, I decided to put them on Epay and see what the market would take (or give).. Drum roll please.... $1501.00!!! SOLD!!!! FIfteen hunderd dollars!!! Holy cow! Ok, this is where Craig chimes in about power tubes... Come on Craig..
  14. pmsummer Rooms were nice, bathtubs were real (no Corvette body materials), fridge/microwave/flatscreen TV, free wi-fi and better-than-most breakfast bar... $45 a night. PM, what's wrong with Corvette body materials??? [:'(]
  15. Don't say that Ian, I'm right there with ya! Did you find a treasure trove of tubes in your purchase? KG
  16. Well, it was my first and I had a great time! It was good putting names and faces together... I didn't make it to the outdoor shindig- my bronchitus has been killing me and I didn't think I could make it thru the heat. I tried to help Jim Hunter move my auction purchases to his old office, and I was out of breath after the first trip. BTW, if someone has Jims email address I need it. I can't find his card. I am supposed to remind him to look up the drivers and crossover for my '57 Shorthorn I bought. # 10 out of 48 produced! I owed a few people a ride in the vette- next trip... Kevin
  17. Will be there in the morning. Was going to bring the vette, but 60% chance of rain... KG
  18. That may work. If I don't have any other offers I will take you up on it. Thanks Kevin
