as much as i love football and can respect the devastation that the continuous impact does to their bodies, $53 mil is just plain silly. But, I'd take it.

John--despite all the jokes on this forum, I sure hope that we're all capable of being serious and will have some spirit of friendship amongst us--even those we've never met. So, it's totally alright to bring this up on this forum--you're amongst friends. While on this forum, I've had my 26 year marriage end in divorce; buried my Mom; got run over by a truck while crossing the street--each time, i mentioned it on the forum and got words of encouragement and/or condelence from my forum buddies. You did the right thing by reaching out. Don't have any magic words obviously; but, like Carl mentioned I'm a big advocate of prayer. It's a rough road to walk down, for sure; but, you'll make it. fretboard on my gretsch is rosewood, probably not brazilian since it's a newer guitar. it just really upsets me that the govt has probably already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on these raids and there are more serious problems facing society. according to the president, i'm rich because my taxes went up and he promised that they'd only go up for the rich. hmmm, if i'm so rich, why haven't i replaced the engine and transmission in my 13 year old truck yet?

it's disgusting the extremes the govt will go to in order to steal a buck. I can think of dozens of worthless, wasteful programs that are costing millions. i think i'll puke if i hear some politician say that they're doing for the children. Maybe that's why our prisons are full, those poor folks grew up without seeing brazilian rosewood.

best to play it safe. i've been caught in the middle of some dangerous weather and believe me, when i tell the story now, people are only impressed for a few seconds.
