  1. No, I didn't even see that. I was referencing a thread that no longer exists. []
  2. I see this thread has gotten WAY off topic, and for that I apologize, Tom. Congrats on hanging out in this looney bin for 10 years. [Y] [Y] (that was just for tdkamerica []) To everyone else, I will simply say, YOU CAN'T PLEASE THEM ALL. And yes, that was yelling in all caps. Good natured yelling, just to get my point across. As you are all aware, people take posts in a myriad of different ways. While someone is personally offended, someone else may think is a hilarious joke. I mostly stay out of things, unless it is specifically brought to my attention. My role is to make this a place where all audio enthusiasts can find useful information and hopefully make some friends. Not to feel uncomfortable, targeted, insulted, or slandered... or to cater to every single person's opinion, which is an impossibility that I neither have time nor care to even attempt. If you are outraged by my sheriffing (sheriffing?), I'm sure there are uglier forums who would be glad to have you. That's all I have to say about that. Side note: if anyone else would like to make a weak attempt an insulting my gender, keep in mind I'm eye-ball deep in an industry dominated by men, and have been for 13 years. Have at it. My skin has grown quite thick. There. That's my smack down post for the year. Talk amongst yourselves. (Sorry again, Tom. I hope you stick around for another 10. [] )
  3. It took so long because I'm not on the forum all the time, nor do I read every post. Things must be brought to my attention to be addressed, in most cases. Waaaay too busy these days. []

    A fond farewell

Thank you for being a part of the Klipsch family, John, and for your contributions here. You will be in our thoughts.
  5. I still have it, we just don't have anything written about it yet, or decided exactly where to put it. The historical section will always remain a work in progress!
  6. Please let me know specifically what is missing. There's a direct link to the forum in the footer.
  7. The Jubilee is right here: http://www.klipsch.com/tri-amp Can you tell me what else is missing specifically? The only thing I moved to discontinued is the MCM-3. Everything else should be there. We will be adding several new models in the coming weeks as well. I'll also double check those mistakes. If they were wrong on the old site, chances are they will be wrong on the new site. Most things were migrated over automatically. This is a nod to the TV show Mad Men, which takes place in the 60s and has a very similar look to the Klipsch ad it accompanies. It didn't seem to offend anyone here who knew him, but I will double check. It certainly isn't meant to be disrespectful.
  8. . Those were all actually on the old site as well, just hard to find. We'll be adding a lot to it as time goes by! Hopefully with more entertainment value
  9. FYI, for those interested - KlipschTape Vol II
  10. Sorry guys. I know our last minute organizing didn't help matters - this year has gotten away from us. Hopefully we can reconvene next summer.
  11. Klipsch historian Jim Hunter had me do the classification on the website. I was confused as well. He had some strong opinions on what was and was not included in the actual Heritage line. I'm sorry my confusion was passed along. [:$]
  12. Sorry for the lack of replies on the Pilgrimage this year. We just have too much going on! If any forum member would like to help with organization, please let one of us know. We're taking volunteers []
  13. There is one, I just can't seem to get Trey on the forum. It's being planned to coincide with the watermelon festival - we will be sponsoring a stage. I'll try to get the details from Trey. Sorry for the late notice, everyone!
  14. Waiting on Trey with the update. Feel free to bombard him with emails. []
  15. Ha! Getting new software is easy, and many times free, or at least very cheap. It's migrating all this data that costs the big bucks, and the tough decision that needs to be made.
  16. Haha! I think you would be shocked at what I've been quoted. I was.
  17. Looks like next stop was nu2toobs. The case is no longer cold....
  18. Last I heard, the dtel's had them, but that's been a year or two? Three? I've lost track of the poor fellers.
  19. Ha! Maybe one that size won't get lost!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute.

I would say the KMC gets louder and has more bass, while the G-17 has a more refined sound. I have not compared the Roomgroove (it's been a while since I've listened to that one!), but I'm fairly certain the KMC has a wider soundstage - more room filling.

Haha, you know the answer to that. The great thing about Klipsch (and working here) is that every product we build, we make sure sounds the best in it's category. We go to great lengths to ensure that, and it allows us to be proud of everything we do. This is no exception! But yeah, don't compare them outside of their category []

Perfect use for this! We should be getting limited initial quantities within a couple weeks. If you put in a preorder on Klipsch.com, you should be among the first to get one. We'll be beefing up inventory in May... If you do get one, you'll have to let me know what you think!

We thought about rechargables, but if you're outside at an event without access to an outlet, we thought it would be better to be able to replace the batteries instead of going without sound. It will work with anything with Bluetooth capability!
  24. Trey needs to weigh in here, but the tentative plan is for a weekend in June. Nothing too elaborate or formal. A tour in Hope and just getting together. We'll pick a date soon.

Haha Portable Bluetooth speakers. I've had a set at home for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it. Perfect for dorm rooms, etc. Not being sale-y here, I really do love it. Phone controls it wirelessly.... These are colors we are considering.
