  1. I buy my HDMI cables from www.mycablemart.com. I've had no problems at all. jerol
  2. Thanks for the responses. I've just brought home a KSW-15. Now to RTFM. Thanks, jerol
  3. I've always been happy with the bass from the the cornwalls. Over the 32 years that I've owned them (original owner) i'm used to the sound and know what to expect from them. I do not intend to use the sub for 2-channel, just HT. So, I'm still confused as to what sub to get. My 57 year old ears, and many GD shows in the Phil zone probably would not be able to differenciate a very good sub vs, an OK sub. thanks, jerol
  4. More great responses. Those Velos are very pricey for something that's only going to rumble the house. jerol
  5. Thanks for the responses. I'm just looking for a box that will sit under a side table. I've seen posts regarding Velodyne as a nice unit, but currently Klipsch units are available at reasonable prices. That's why I asked about these models. jerol
  6. I currently have a 5.0 HT using 4 Heresys and a KG2,2V. My 2-channel is a pair of Cornwalls. There are subs aplenty on my local craigslist. Choices include KSW10, KSW12 and a KSW15. Would any of these match? Or is there a better match? How important is a sub anyway? Wouldn't any sub that issues those low frequencies work? jerol
  7. Wow. One lucky (skillful) duck. jerol
  8. They're shippable, but I cannot lift anything heavier than 30 lbs. I'm sure arrangements could be made. jerol
  9. Coon tastes good between two slices of bread. Or sauteed in butter with shallots, then deglazed with white wine. jerol
  10. I've got a pair for sale in Great Northwest, If you're nearby. jerol
  11. Would it be possible to let the raccoons finish raising my kids? That's what I was implying. My brother lives in Rohnert Park also. Is the Green Mill still around? jerol
  12. Don't forget to wear your helmet. jerol
  13. We had the same situation. We let them live under the house until they moved out. Then, we closed the holes. If the only nuisance is noise, share the world with the other creatures that live in your area. Live and let live. jerol Pretty touchy feelie, eh?
  14. Thanks Marshall. Very informative. Do you think I could use your process on Khorn grills? jerol
  15. Shameless bump. Trades??? jerol
  16. Thanks Nomad. They sounded great when I stuffed them into my too small living room. Now they are sequestered in a 'storage' room waiting for the media room, which has been cancelled. My body is getting old, while I'm not. Take care of your back, it's important. jerol
  17. After the weekend Shameless Bump. Thank You. jerol Bump Bump Bump - Still available and open to trades. jerol With great reluctance, I offer for your consideration a set of horns from 1965. I purchased them from the original owner in May 2007. Because of an injury, I will not be able to complete (start) my planned media room. Cherry venneer, cane colored burlap grills. $1900. Thanks for looking. Jerol
  18. Hi Amy, It's probably OK, but to be sure, get it checked. See if your city has a public arborist. jerol
  19. A true humanitarian and a great racer. RIP Paul. jerol
