funny my Lowes knows me by name. I am up there so often, they tell me if I was on the pay role, I would make more then the rest of employees there. My lowes never seems to mind me digging through anything to find the best product. Glad you were able to find yours, sucks you had to go through 2 different stores.

Out in the middle of no where, just kidding just south of Omaha, NE. I have a lowes with in walking distance, to be truthful I like the looks of birch over oak. Though anything with the right stain looks nice, even pine. But I do need 7 sheets and I am on a tight budget as it is, and the extra 70, would kill my budget. But now that I know you have used their ply for speaker cabs, I might give their birch a try sometime. Thanks for the heads up.

Jeff, Thanks for the write up on these, I am not a heavy smoker but my wife is. I quit cold turkey as well for about 4 years then about 2 years ago I enjoyed cigars(still do). But that lead me back to the cigarettes. I can go all day and even all week without one, but when my wife goes out for one after dinner, or when I am out drinking its hard not to for the social aspect. About 2 weeks ago I had taken my son over to his friends house were come to fin out his friends dad was a old friend of mine(whole another story all on its own). Well he was walking around with this metal object that looked like a pipe, I thought is this guy toking it up around my kid, maybe I shouldn't leave me kid here with him. Then I asked it turned out to be one of the ecigs, he told me all about it. He used to be a 2 packs a day kind of guy. Said he started with a high mg of nicotine, and now down to 6 mgs. He was a big Marlboro brand kind of guy and is now using the grape flavor. He says there's lots of info out there such as replacing the wicks, and making your own oils. I thought about giving this a try, and now with all the testimonies I will, and try and convince my wife to give it a try. He said you can even get a cigar flavored oil.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I all ways wonder if the neighbors have issues but no complaints yet, guess I should turn it up more. Maybe some bass traps would help absorb some of the bass.

I am starting to clean out my garage and would like to build some cabinets/shelves so I have a better work station. I was looking at this plywood from Menards. http://www.menards.com/main/building-materials/panel-products/plywood/3-4-classic-birch-plywood-wood-veneer-core/p-1480808-c-5698.htm Its 11 Ply birch veneered, for 38.99 I thought was a decent price, is there anything else anyone would recommend that would be cheaper and just as good if not better. I don't want to use mdf to messy and don't care for the look. I have Lowes and HD for options as well. Don't expect any pics of this project for a while as I am slow at these kind of things but once I get going I will post some pics down the road.

Welcome to the forum, there are many different amps many different people around here have. I too am in the process of trying different amps. So far I have found my McIntosh MC2505 to sound best. Good luck with your searches, and remember to have fun. P.S. nice system you have there.

Dynaco's are very nice, one of my favorites is the ST-35. The Dynaco kits are fairly easy to buiild if you are so inclined. They will go nicely with your SP6. Dave 1 which kit are you referring to as I found 2 different ones. 2nd the ST-35 appears to be a push pull el-84, how does this compare to other push pull EL-84 amps such as the H.H. Scott 299(wait the H.H. Scott is a EL-84 push pull right). I know the H.H. Scott is a integrated, and has a lot of filtering stuff going on. As the ST-35 looks a lot more simplified.

Nice, any particular reason you went with red. Maybe its your favorite color maybe you just really like firetrucks. How do these sound on you Lascalas, what crossovers are you using.

Dynaco is another brand I would like to try sometime.
