  1. Well if space is not an issue another Forte II would fit the bill nicely. Others should chime in on recommendations as well.
  2. Well I deserved that for sure. Very Witty. []Note to self... Double check post for errors. Yes I am bored with what I have running currently. The 82's just don't have the magical sound as the older 3 way Klipsch I've listened to in the past.
  3. Any thoughts of building up a system with the Chorus for Mains. getting board with my current set up.
  4. From Speakerfritz Technology conflicts - I found my self wondering what the producers were thinking....how on earth can the technology portrayed in this film be more advanced the the technology portrayed in the orginal series. The original series used walkie-talkie communicators, computers said "working" during wait times for basic commands, etc Curtural conflicts - the most out of wack aspect.....during the original series there were no aliens on the enterprise, much less the acadamy... Not to be to much of a fan but in the animated series there was Lt. Arex and Lt. M'Ress. http://www.danhausertrek.com/AnimatedSeries/Cast.html
  5. Head out to Radio Shack and pick up what you'll need. I to experienced the same fate with my C7 years ago. Good Luck
  6. Hey over in Clermont most the of the boat houses are high and dry. We could use around about 3 foot to get started! of course in moderation[]
  7. KLF 20 a fine speaker find your self a C7 you'll be in some serious sonic bliss! In my opinon It would be a postive step from the RF-3. For what wuzzzer mentioned for the 5.5 the KLF would take it to school! For needing seperates IMHO that can wait. With my Yamaha reciever it didn't take much to chase me out of the room with the volume not even close to the 10 o'clock postion. Real quick with the "madness" I should have stopped at the KLF 20's but at one point had 4 KLF 30s and a C7 that was quite magical. now I have the RF-82 they don't have the impact that the KLFs had. BTW had 5 Heresys running at one time as well. If you can listen to them first let your ears decide.
  8. KV-4 would be ideal or you could find a single CF-3 really be in some excitment.
  9. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/84482.aspx?PageIndex=1This might be a good start. Or dig farther back for Horn Ed's KLF 30 that started it all.
  10. Maybe the Horn isn't connected? can you get inside the cabinet to take a look?

  13. I went the route of a 5 Heresy setup with a pesky LF10 sub. For the center the Acadamy should "fit" the bill. Expect to pay a premium though. One was on here earlier then went to Ebay. A little worn for wear but the price I thought was fair. In wall rears no Idea. Good Luck

Smells funny, never an isle clear of pallets of product to go on shelves (and no one ever there stocking...), and the most bizarre customers. ---------------- If that's the case I stopped by the Walmart in Roswell, New Mexico 2 years ago while on vacation. The customers wandering the halls prove that we are not alone.

They are the cheap raw birch unfinished model. $660 plus tax for the pair. I still have them despite the abuse that followed that summer. Great find. Congratulations. ---------------- H = Heresy W = Walnut O = Oiled.
  16. I went the route of Heresy for LCR and Heresy II for the rears. Total sound immersion If you got the room then go for it.
  17. Sounds like it's going into a protection mode. I'd start by double checking the speaker wire and make sure everything is happy on both ends. JVC into the KLIPSCH. Might be a strand of wire is touching another speaker wire? or part of the JVC. Keep us posted.

  23. I'm using 5 Heresies for my HT and it sounds great!
  24. It would be in your best interest to leave the grills on. The woofer cones are very acceptable to creasing and denting from folks that get just to curious
