  1. Actually there is a Dec/Jan issue as well. For some reason I've been getting a free subscription to this magazine. Though the cover on this issue isn't as revealing, there is a rather good looking lady wearing a dress made of pictures linked by rings. ( the pictures are of their "Sexiest Gadgets of the Year" Klipsch has a full back cover ad promoting the iGroove and also, the RF 35 made their Speaker "Sync Hot List". The category heading was. "Best for Deafening Volumes" ....The caption reads..."This horned style speaker produces a concentrated burst of sound that's powerful enough to shatter glass.." JJ
  2. Too far away for me!!! Otherwise, I would be gassing up the truck. Thanks for the heads up. JJ
  3. Hi Brian: Animusic is only available from their Website as far as I can tell. I have a copy of Animusic 2 you can borrow and since you are in or around Stillwater, maybe we can meet in St. Croix Falls for the exchange. I have some last minute X-Mas shopping to do so I'll be there anyway. I have PM my phone # in case you don't have it anymore. JJ P.S This will give me a good reason to stop by and see your new set-up
  4. Greed: Medium Gluttony: Medium Wrath: Low Sloth: Medium Envy: Low Lust: Medium Pride: Low Not really sure what category this puts me in??!!?? JJ
  5. Just checked eCost an they do have the Denon 1920, in Black and in stock, for 223.99. http://www.ecost.com/ecost/ecsplash/shop/detail~dpno~643144.asp JJ
  6. One thing to keep in mind, even though Dakmart is an Authorized, on-line dealer for Denon B- Stock items, you only get a 90 day warranty from Denon. If there is any promise of warranty over 90 days, it would be backed by Dakmart. Dakmart had a very poor rating on eBay awhile back. They sold just about everything you can think of and because of that, they did sell some garbage that in essence hurt their eBay rating. They have since changed their eBay store name and have turned things around. But what I can remember, they always had good feedback in regards to the Denon products they sold. FYI..eCost also is an authorized, on-line seller of Denon B-Stock items. They have a great selection, but don't always have them in stock. I purchased a Denon B-Stock 1803 from eCost and did have troubles with it right out of the box. I took advantage of the 90 warranty and has worked flawlessly for the past couple of years. Every once in awhile you do get a lemon when buying refurbed/B Stock items but if you address any issues within the Factory Warranty period, you usually come out ahead. JJ
  7. Thanks for the recipe, Edwin!!! This will beat the heck out of the Pre-made stuff that comes in a carton. JJ
  8. Kevin: There are a lot of mods and updates that you can do but most will tell you to listen to them for awhile before making any changes. I agree with this as well. Also, there are many experts here that can point you into the right direction. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them. JJ
  9. 1974.. Congrats on your new purchases.. Enjoy!!! JJ P.S. Welcome to the nut house err...I mean the Klipsch Forums.
  10. Help Amy!!!!!! What special viewer do I need to view this data? It has an extension .lsp, which is compressed in a ZIP file. Thanks JJ

  13. Hi Brian: Congrats on finding your Cornwalls. Where did you end up finding those? I've got my eye on those K-horns in Rochester, but I need another pair of K-horns..like a hole in the head. JJ
  14. JJ, I pm'd you. Thanks JJ, got your email - thanks. Can't place an order right now because they closed their online store. It was closed since last night. [] Placed my order a few minutes ago. Got the discount. Thanks again JJ. You are very welcome, ARPRINCE I'm still not sure if it is a one time deal. I haven't heard from anyone else that requested the couipon code. JJ
  15. We have about 2 inches here in NW WI. Hard to tell how much because we have 20 mph winds and a lot of drifting. And they are predicting lows of 0 degrees tonight. Not bad timing because Deer hunting starts this weekend. JJ
  16. I agree with Kevin. Ralph is a great person to talk to and he is very knowledgeable in regards to re-grilling. He gave me some very helpful hints as well as a great price. JJ
  17. I've been watching this item very closely. It has been re-listed twice, with the BIN a little lower each time. I've tried contacting the seller, but no replies as of yet A scam artist had also listed the exact same K-Horns. The idiot didn't even change the pictures or the description. Thanks for the heads up. Big Heritage speakers don't come up for auction very often in our neck of the woods. JJ
  18. Show-Off [] JJ P.S. I just made it to 100 today..in about the same amt of time.
  19. I just ordered mine and also received a $2 coupon code that can be used on future purchases. It said "You may also share this code with friends or family." If you want to save a couple of bucks on your purchase, send me a PM or e-mail and I'll provide you the coupon code. JJ
  20. Just a no-nonsense post to get to 100. [<)] I've been on this forum for 4yrs and 4months to the day and only 100 posts. Sheesh!! I have gained a lot of knowledge over the years from this forum and for that..I THANK YOU ONE AND ALL. CHEERS!!!! [D][D] JJ The "King of the Lurkers."
  21. Colter wrote: Methinks all Birthday Boys should celebrate with a Klipsch purchase ============================================================== I agree!!!!!! Happy 40th, RPlace!!! and welcome to a new demographic..You now have to pick the 40-49 box when filling out forms!!
  22. Congrats on the purchase, Brian. Nice looking pair..better than the ones with the glass tops we talked about. I sure hope that they arrive to you safely and in better condition than poor Gilbert's decorators. JJ P.S. The offer of borrowing my single Cornwall to fill in the hole for awhile is still open.
  23. I've been waiting for a long time for this question to be discussed but now I'm not so sure if it was worth the wait. I thought I had a handle on how to pull off this but now I have no clue what or how to do this. Here is what I have.. 1. Pr of K-Horns 2. 3 Cornwalls 3. Pr of Belles 4. Scott 299c 5. Dynaco ST-70 6. Teac AL-700 7. A DRBill home made Blackbox 8. JM-Peach Room size will roughly be 25.5 X 19.5. Can a 3 channel set-up be configured from the items listed above? Please Advise The how question will come later down the road. Thanks JJ
  24. Damon: Looks Great!!! The 2 things I really like are: 1. Filing all "How To's". Tweaks, Mods, etc in one place. 2. The For-Sale Section. Keep up the good work!!! JJ
  25. Hi Guy: I'll take item #8 off your menu of Goodies For Sale.. if it's still for sale. You did me right by the other ST-70 you sold me. I'll send it off to Craig to see if he's as good as he says he is.. JJ PS Sorry to hear that you are leaving us for awhile. Please stay in touch when you get the chance.
