  1. I will echo Mark's comment @wuzzzer , these 1975 Cornwall Decorators represent more than money , given the condition 1500-2k$ , 1 question , where are the klipsch badges , are they stapled in a plastic bag on the side of the speakers
  2. are you sure that these speakers are KB FR .........because F refers to Fir , but your speakers do not look like Fir plywood Please go to the Historian section of the Forum , and open another thread , @JRH is the klipsch Historian Please post good quality pictures of the veneer from the front and the top of the speakers , and we also need pictures of the rear tags .
  3. the Yamaha A-S 301 would be a very good match , it's a Stereo amplifier with a quality preamp . brand new 350$ https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio_visual/hifi_components/a-s301/index.html
  4. the selling price depends on the condition of the speakers , mint condition would fetch 1800$ , pictures would help a lot for us to give a more exact value , veneer adds value , and so does the condition of the grilles . , the extra set of grilles should be sold apart from the speakers as they can be worth a lot of money if they are in perfect condition . a pair of copper badges are now worth 125$ minimum , PWK pie badges 100$ , the grilles can be worth 4-500$ or even more if they are made of cane . put it this way , the 2 sets of grilles can fetch close to 1k$ all by themselves Ebay or Usaaudiomart.com would bring you the highest selling value , Usaaudiomart does not have fees , but Ebay does , the Forum Garage sale is free , Craigslist i s free , insist on cash in hand , beware of other forms of payment since there are scammers out there
  5. if you want the best sound , RF-7 III brand new networks are available from klipsch parts , -klipsch Part # 1064536
  6. the issues can be resolved by calling tech support , now mind you , the problems posted on the forum are always super amplified while they may only be user related issues , put it this way , a handful of complaints is nothing , there are 1000's of sales , all are backed by returns for refunds and a warranty
  7. Re-install the latest firmware if the issue is not resolved after the FW upgrade , contact klipsch tech support via email to open a ticket https://support.klipsch.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  8. 2 choices , the RC-7 was already mentioned , or the RP-504C
  9. is that a Rottweiler / Doberman , sure looks super intelligent
  10. W stands for Walnut , L stands for lacquer
  11. The prices are inflated in Germany , the RP-160M at €368 a pair were discounted under 200$ a pair brand new in the USA last year , instead try to locate a used pair of RP-600M
  12. please give us your results with the M-5000 when you get a chance
  13. a quality preamp does the contrary , technology marches on , high end preamps with Tone Controls are now mainstream
  14. the Dealer installed optional grilles with klipsch fabric and klipsch copper badges were stapled

  16. you must have been quite a young guy to serve in Nam , the war ended in 1975
  17. definitely . 1500$ is a steal , grab em before someone else does and I do mean run dont walk , cause the speakers I see are worth 3000$ , regardless of a bad tweeter or mids diaphragm .
