Have a question on serial #'s for KSP-S6. Do the numbers 262799308 and 262799309 indicate how old they might be? I'm thinking about dumping cable and don't really watch enough to consider a satellite ( I don't think so anyway). Don't want to mount anything on the roof, so has anyone had experience with something that could be mounted in the attic or underneath the eaves? I learned the hard way that dual bananas don't fit all equipment as Ray pointed out. I then ordered Acoustic Research single compression bananas and they work fine. Needed some more one day and didn't want to order, so went to the local Rat Shack and theirs were the same as the AR's, just with a different name label. I was listening to some tunes late one night and that one Steve Miller tune that starts with the lyrics "I told you 'bout livin' in the US of A" caught my attention for some reason even though I'd heard it 100's of times. The finest recording of anything I have in any format is The Beatles - Abbey Road, an "Original Master Recording" by mobile fidelity sound lab. I've never heard anything like it. A favorite classical is "The Antiphonal Music of Gabrieli". It features the Philadelphia Brass Ensemble, The Cleveland Brass Ensemble, and The Chicago Brass Ensemble. In addition: anything by Weather Report, Passport, Eric Gale, Lee Ritenour, Tom Scott (with or without the L.A. Express), Tower of Power, Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Pat Methey, Lyle Mays, Deodato, The Crusaders, Grover Washington Jr. Also, and don't laugh, the original soundtrack albums of Mission Impossible and Mannix by Lalo Schifrin; the other tunes on these are nice. I could go on forever but these are some of my top picks.
