Problem is shipping it will cost as much as you're going to buy it for. Plus there's a good chance it would get damaged.

I can't believe anyone local hasn't grabbed it. I have a velodyne 18". I'll tell you the 18 is in a different league than even the 15. You won't find anything even close at that price. You're going to be kicking yourself if it's gone at the end of the week. They're in a sealed box, so they're really not as big as you may think.

I don't know. Are the parts for these easy to get? The guy seems to know something about repairing units. He states it's a complex circuit, and that if it were a Sansui he would have already had it running. Sounds like it could be a headache.

Actually, the Fronts are RF7II, and the others are the original RF7's. My current sub is a Velodyne HGS 18

Thanks for the responses. I know I'm missing out without the subs on, but between the neighbor, wife, and kids... It's just too much. I live in NYC. I'm on the top floor with no one on the sides, but there's someone downstairs. I run 7 RF-7II's for surround. They're too much on their own. When I turn on the sub, it's more of feeling the difference. I know they feel it downstairs even more lol I'm planning to buy a house pretty soon. Once I get a basement it'll be on!!

Do you think it would be a significant upgrade over the AV7005? I think XT32 would be the real difference, right? I never even turn on my subwoofer

Best Buy Magnolia by me has them for $999 on closeout right now. Slick deals had links to some other places doing $999 with free shipping. They've been available refurbished all over for that at places like accessories4less. I also know a guy getting rid of his that would give it to me for considerably less. I don't know if I'd want used though.

I'm currently running a Marantz AV7005. I was considering the Denon 4520. I'm not big on using a receiver as a pre/pro, but I've heard there's virtually no difference and you get a lot more bang for the buck. The only reason this popped into my head, is I see they're blowing out the 4520's all over for under $1000 now. I usually buy as they're closing out a model, so I stay fairly current without taking such big hits. I figure after I sell my AV7005 it wouldn't be much difference. Soon my marantz won't be worth squat. As I was posting this I saw you guys posted about Dolby Atmos. Should I wait for that? I'm sure it'll be pricey at first. I hate the depreciation of processors. I honestly rarely use my surround sound. I have separate 2 channel systems for music. I usually watch movies late at night and can't even turn it on:(

Seems like a good deal. Unfortunately there's no Fry's anywhere around me. Looks like they're pretty scarce outside of California. You may be able to get a local dealer to match it. Anyone own or heard this sub? I haven't heard anything about it. I'm curious how it would compare to a RSW or similar priced SVS

To me, it's actually a little offensive. Don't was his time offering current eBay prices? His piles of uninventoried, untested, equipment are worth more than the tested documented stuff on every other listing? The guy is delusional or just a tool. I wouldn't buy anything from him. Just my .02

I have a bunch of RF-7's. One pair I picked up used but wrapped in the boxes years ago had labels something like that. I was concerned when I first unboxed them. After I hooked them up and everything looked and sounded as it should, I didn't really care. I actually forgot all about that until I saw this thread. As long as they sound right, just enjoy. Did Klipsch use the same labels for B-stock back then? Maybe different if bought from unauthorized dealers? I'll be interested in whatever conclusion you come to. I've had the stickers fall off some of my Klipsch.

I've had quite a few of those Yammies as well. My favorite was the MX-1 which you rarely hear about. Great underrated amp! I've still got it. I keep an eye out for the CX-1 preamp. It's the matching pre. It comes with remote, and is supposed to be very good. They come up so rarely, when I do see one, they're asking too much. Did the amp arrive yet?

Where are you getting your 4k signal from? Most of the better bluray players (like Oppo) have dual HDMI outs. So no need to pass. One goes to your processor and the other to the TV. I second the Marantz and B&K recommendations as well.

I haven't seen many for sale used. Accessories4less sells refurbished ones for 1299. They're an authorized dealer, so they come with warranty. Probably the best deal going. I ordered a few things from them in the past and everything went well. Nice amp

Yep.. I've never heard a pair, and wouldn't pay it for something so old. I see these drivers come up a lot. Go to eBay and type tannoy 15. You'll see some of the 15" woofers going for that all by themselves. I doubt he'll get that on Craigslist, but probably would on Agon.

Nice receiver. Good luck with your sale. I'm guessing you grabbed that B&K that came up on Agon for a great price I saw recently. I almost got it myself, but I already have a 200.2 that I'm not using. It's a great amp. I had the parasound P3 for about a month and didn't care for it. I know they always review them very well, maybe the P5 is better. If you want to know my experience with it feel free to shoot me a pm. I don't want to derail your thread.
