  1. Great deal! I'd grab it at the buy it now price before it's gone. At this price if you don't like it you can flip it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/202003117049 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Correction.. I was thinking of the RP280F. I didn't realize the R28F was different. These new model numbers are too close lol my apologies
  3. Our rooms limit most of us unless you have a dedicated theater like Youthman. Size may limit your center channel options on that mantle as well. When watching a movie the majority of dialogue and sound is coming from the center. It makes quite a difference. If you can fit it, I'd look for a deal on a RP-450C. You might even get better results disconnecting the center channel and running what they call a phantom center channel, rather than using a small one. Your receiver will then send the dialogue to the mains. You can experiment and see what works/sounds best to you.
  4. Great looking setup! I'm not sure if you're looking for any tips, but I think you'd get much better results if you spread out your main left and right speakers. You're not getting any separation. The shape of your room looks a bit challenging. If you could put the left speaker where the subwoofer is, and the right on other side of the audio stand it should really open up. Then run your room correction setup again. I also think your center channel speaker is your weak link. It won't keep up with the R28's.
  5. Go big or go home! For nearly the same money as the Klipsch 15" sub you can get a 24" locally! http://www.avsforum.com/forum/209-audio-gear/2904073-fs-stereo-integrity-hs24-mkii-box.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just got done loading up the RF-83's. Very nice guy. Thanks for the referral Michael, although he stole them from me lol. I think he'll be in heaven when he gets home... well as long as he stays off of this forum. I feel the addiction starting! This place is rough on the wallet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Klipsch RF-83 SOLD

Dropped price to $750 for members. They've been sitting in the middle of my room. They need to sell or back to the closet they go.
  8. I'm not sure where you're located but there's been a pair of RB75's for sale on my local CL in NYC for a while. Unfortunately they're scratched up, but maybe you could get them cheap if interested. No affiliation https://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/ele/6204628569.html
  9. I love my B&K stuff with Klipsch. Great receiver. Can I ask what integrated amp you picked up?
  10. I'm really intrigued with these. I nearly ordered a pair just to hear them, luckily I looked them up and they have a store here in NYC. I'm going to stop by when I have time and have a listen.
  11. Wow! I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on it. It's hard to imagine something so small being so powerful. What would you compare its sound to?
  12. I wonder why closeout, didn't they just come out?

    Klipsch RF-83 SOLD

The 802's are sold. Price drop on the RF83 to $900
  14. No affiliation, but these are on my local CL. I believe they're the same ones the guy was trying to sell here. https://longisland.craigslist.org/ele/6174708817.html Here

    Wanted RF7

I've got RF-7's and RF-83's. I'm in Staten Island. PM me specifics. RF-83's are in excellent condition. RF-7's I have 4 pair varying from mint to some marks. I need to downsize a bit.
  16. $200 buy it now with reasonable shipping available for a RSW15. The stripped screws are an easy fix. I never opened up a RSW15 but I imagine the volume knob would be easy to replace or bypass and just use the volume control on the preamp. I have no room for another sub or I'd play with it myself. https://www.ebay.com/itm/222538303583

    Klipsch RF-83 SOLD

I remember you had the 800's, right? I almost traded for a pair of 800's about 2 years ago at stereo exchange here in NYC. When I went to get them they had the new D3's that I didn't even know were out. After a demo I almost bought the D3's. The vocals were the best I ever heard. After playing my own music they just didn't sound right. The mids were too forward. I'm so glad I didn't spend that now. They were 22k and weren't willing to deal. I ended up buying nothing lol I'll be keeping the 804's. I've used them for my analog listening for the last 10+ years next to my all RF-7 now RF-7II home theater system. I tried to consolidate and put the 804's in the rear and use the 802's for analog and theater use. It just didn't look right. The thought of selling at least 4 pair of RF7's plus the other stuff was too much of a pain. The 804's don't have the depth or soundstage of the 802's but they have the same sound signature. Most importantly they're easy to move. The 802's have rollers on the bottom, but they're so heavy they damage the wood floors. This way I feel like I've got the best of both worlds.

    Klipsch RF-83 SOLD

It's telling me all my photos are too big now. I've always had problems loading pictures on here. PM me your email if there's any specific photos you'd like. Sorry, I'm doing this from my phone. I'm not great with computers.

    Klipsch RF-83 SOLD

Apparently I can only load one picture per post.
  20. Klipsch RF-83 in excellent condition. These have been wrapped in blankets stored in a closet most of their life. If I had to guess they probably have 20 hours on them. SOLD B&W 802's have sold. Im located in Staten Island NY. I do have a truck, so I could possibly help with delivery in the tristate area. I will not ship. Bring some music and check them out. Any questions just ask. Please discuss pricing via PM's.
  21. I find scams on eBay all the time. It is sooo difficult to report them that I never bother.
  22. Yup... pretty sure those are these. They've been listed here on the forum. @nola you might want to change that $100 shipping option. That could get you in trouble quick. I'm in NYC and was considering buying them from you if you brought them back up north. I'm just trying to figure out where I could put them!
  23. He's been selling these for probably a year now. He won't post for awhile then put them back up. I called him about a year ago. The guy was very rude. I don't remember his price, but it was on the high side. He acted like I was rude for asking for more pictures. I told him I was a couple hours away so I'd like to know more before making the drive. He said he wasn't pulling them out to take pictures lol so I told him what I thought of him. Maybe he's changed his tune after trying to sell them so long, but I doubt it considering there's still only one picture and no price.
  24. I think yours looks better. If you buy another RC-7 I'd be interested in your comparison of the two

    Cheap room treatments

There's a ton of similar panels with hundreds of positive reviews on Amazon and other sites. Mostly the only negative reviews are people thinking that they could soundproof their room by hanging a few panels lol. If drapes work, these have to help. Covering any hard surfaces, especially corners should help. I'm going to try them behind my theater speakers. I'm not putting anything where it will really be seen. I've got some carpet squares with rubber bottoms back there now. They can't hurt. It gives me something to tinker with. Maybe placebo effect will make me think my system is better;)
