  1. They would match my belles nicely you must mean. No I haven't tried to get them. Too many bills right now. Doubt they'll last.
  2. My favorite is a pre1968 ban ppk. My bond gun. Closely followed by my ruger cowboy 6 shooter in 44/40. For trap, browning 425 grade 1. My door answerer winchester defender 12 pump with 7 rounds of 00buck. About 20 others. I could go on for quite a while.

I guess you don't have to go far if you have any questions. Your brother certainly has a handle on things.

Aaaannnnd your brother is insane. Congrats on the chorus. Excellent speakers. Welcome!!.
  5. Praying for a full recovery. Best wishes.
  6. Outlaw has been flawless for me. Every day use for 2-3 years not one problem. No hiss or buzz. Never gets more than warm even when jamming for hours. I'm just south of Chicago.
  7. They are sweet. Can't stop looking at them. Can't believe my chorus2s are unhooked and sitting in my tool room. Took a lot to bump those bad boys from the number one spot.
  8. Playoffs. I did hook them up and check them out. Some credit.
  9. Thanks for the well wishes. Listened for an hour but football and hockey are on. Tuesday I'll really check them out good.
  10. Who has new ls2 for 1750 ??? I'm in.
  11. It depends on your furniture placement. If you sit on a couch or chair with high backs above ear level, it's a waste cause the tweeters will be lower than ear level. I did have rf3s as rears and surrounds. Your better off using rb speakers on stands with the tweets at least at ear level without obstruction, for surround back speakers. It's all about a clear path from tweets to listening position.
  12. I had rf3,rc3,rs3, setup. When my rc3 finally gave up, after 10 years, I replaced it with an rc62II. It just didn't sound right. It's about timbre matching speakers. Or maybe that's what I told myself so I could go get some rf82IIs. And then some rs52IIs.then some rb61IIs. Get my point. It's a slippery slope. Once you buy 1 new speaker,it's just the beginning. The rc62II is a good speaker. It will work. But you probably won't be satisfied with just one new speaker. If you get an rc64 your totally screwed. Good luck. Just be prepared.
  13. So sad. A voice of reason to us so many times. So sorry for your loss. A great man who will be missed by many. Gonna miss his jokes and pics. I'll keep your family in my prayers. Chin up.be strong.
  14. Would be mine. Too far.
  15. Klipschtopia. I'm in. My neighbors never complain. Kinda disappointed. On my days off. Neighbors work. Their kids are in school. All bets are off. Let the dogs out back and chorus 2s earn their keep. My therapy.
  16. Meant no disrespect to jpj. I agree. Just didn't want to seem like I was trashing plant. One of my favorite groups of all time. Bought their albums as they came out and enjoyed them with friends. Bought them again in every format that followed. Those were happy days.
  17. Dts for movies. But when listening to music on 5.1 or 7.1 system I prefer the pcm version while using all channel stereo. It doesn't limit vocals to the center and gives you a more enveloped surround. Puts you in the center.
  18. Sorry all, but Jimmy page was the talent there, with Bonham a close second and one of the best drummers of all time. The classic 70s front man. Great, but third out of four.
  19. You've got plenty of power. Keep the amp. Listen for a while at different cross points. 60 or 80. After re running audussey. Listen to some music in all channel stereo. Adjust your channel levels up to what sounds the best at your listening position. Enjoy. Awesome setup. Killer t.v. Welcome!!
  20. Any idea what year there were made. Is no tags an issue. They look clean but is not being able to see the crossovers an issue. Is it harder to replace parts being a sealed design. Sure would be easier to move downstairs to the basement. Price is fair but should I think 1200 is less riskier if I have to replace stuff. Any suggestions would help.
  21. Thanks. I'll find another pair. I live just south of Chicago.
  22. I was the only bidder with 10 seconds left and someone snaked me and I tried to bid and it ended. I was the sole bidder all week. I talked to the guy and had everything set to pick them up. Was my birthday present. Not happy. Someone in Peoria.
