  1. Centre to Centre i have 15ft, and your right in sterero, i have had the same experience, sound comes from the centre. I just measured my Jubilee Bins, they are Just under 40 inches high. Wonder if i should increase my height limit to 3 ft 4 inches. i was trying to keep my screen viewing area as large as possible, but i be talked into sacrificing the extra viewing space for a Jubilee bin maybe... It might not be conventional, but if i did use the jubilee bin, i'd use my 510MF/703HF seciton, which i've already used in the past, it works well actually. i have a passive xover for it, with an autoformer to match the top half with the jubilee bin. The more i think about that, the better that idea gets. i think my screen viewing area was limiting my options.
  2. La scala Splits are super rare around here. they are very difficult to find. your probably right about the 402 on top of the mwm. I just dont have the space. i think the 510 703 i have will work. in a three way or even just the 510 in a two way. Anyone have a La scala split bin thats in nice condition?
  3. I think you could put an 1133 driver on the K510 to bring down the xover frequency low enough for the mwm. and still have the K703/K70G.
  4. The double height MWM fits, i'd need to think of something for the mid and tweeter.
  5. This also happened to me with my KSW115. i ended up taking it in, getting it fixed, and then selling it. this is when i moved to a seperate sub and amps.
  6. Looks like 2k or so? where are you located?
  7. How about this one, now were getting crazy?
  8. I have already contacted Klipsch and tried to extract one of these as a centre channel...no chance...
  9. the front sound stage is on an 18ft wall, The Jubilee's are toed into the corners. In between the left and right there is 11 ft. I would prefer to keep the centre channel no higher than 3ft, width isnt an issue. this allows me to pull the screen down in front of the existing TV. I can keep the centre channel in place during regular TV and also during movies. I was thinking the KPT4350MS, but am open to other options, just wondering what you guys are using? i had a couple other crazier idea's...
  10. I am currently using a Heresy II as a centre channel between Jubilee's. Its ok, but needs to be bigger. What are you guys using as a centre channel. If you could buy any centre channel, what would it be?
  11. No worries man, these are great.
  12. These guys are all wrong, there's nothing you can do, so just send them to me.[] thats helpful eh?
  13. Dont get to close, you could go blind....
  14. Check here http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/170134.aspx
  15. I have not seen many of those on the market. there was one guy who bought one, here that was in rough shape, its needs to be restored.
  16. Dont get me wrong, i do agree. however, i just cant find the time to build a couple...for now my 684 has to do.
  17. Agree, for us(neighbors to the north), Canuck Audio mart is a favorite of choice. I've bought two sets of La Scala's there. With only 30m people, not sure about the volume though. Living in or near the largest centre in Canada, most of the good stuff for me is fairly local. Within a 2 hour road trip. Your right, shipping would kill the deal along with any import taxes there might be.
  18. Well, I'm sure there are some upgrades which could be better than others, i personally dont mess with it. At my school, we say...if its not broken...
  19. To funny, i was waiting for the shoe to drop...
  20. Nice, All of a sudden my sub feels so inadequate...
  21. Lots of good and interesting advice, There is another i think i've seen Carl(CECAA850 Sorry if i messed that up) build F20? that look good, very clean and the plans also looked relatively easy. I think it takes up less floor space that the BFM Tuba. I still think it would be nice if Klipsch came out with their own Horn loaded Sub. Ok, so whats the plan for that $1000?
  22. Totally love that vintage gear with Huge VU meters...
