Yer really rattling around with amps here I see. From Rotel at my perspective then to Yamaha your going to get some interesting differences in characteristics. I know some real hard core Yamaha rockers around and have had my share. Those Kenwood amps seem to be more a stepping stone to getting into a proper unit in my opinion and actually factual once somebody makes the next step in amplification. Iv ran multiple M2's and will never forget the day I hooked a pair of them up then more...years ago kenwood power amps were an obsession of mine and LOUD. They really get the job done well although not quite the quality that klipsch(and other manufacturers)can provide with higher end amps/components. The Yamahas on the other hand I would set them right with the late Rotel models even considering years apart in production and price if you get a descent Yamaha setup done properly. Iv had a long running love/hate with Yamaha after spending so much money on nib equipment with them over the years and just wasting gas money trading til finding the right one. Once you get hooked on Yamaha its tough to shake. Im running a full Yamaha 2 ch pa system right now and with the stone smashing slightly harsh power done correctly Yamaha can haul the mail for sure

IV HAD MORE MARANTZ RECIEVERS THAN I CAN REMEMBER. IF IT READS PROTECTION MODE THEN ITS BEEN SHORTED INTERNALLY OR MORE LIKELY EXTERNALLY USUALLY BY WAY OF SPEAKER WIRE TERMINALS NEG&POS WIRES SHORTING THE RECIEVERS POWER INTO PROTECTION MODE. REGARDLESS THIS IS AN ISSUE ONLY MARANTZ CAN FIX I CAN LET YOU KNOW WITH 100% CERTAINTY.

i don’t know if i respect you more or am scared of you more i have the same anxiety issue; but, am just trying to make friends with it. We can only suppress our issues for so long! Many are meant to be free weather healthy or not or something. For example the crazy person...they can learn to act and not be so crazy to be involved in certain situations and they can do this forever...it still doesn't change the fact they are crazy...when I get home everyday Im still crazy but I sure feel good about the act I just put on acting normal. I had a boss years ago who I never seen eat once...we sat at tables at numerous dinners for years and I thought he was a speed addict or something. Anyhow he spoke one time of how his father spoke of the wish that there was a sponge to fill our stomach(and yes there are gimmick poison devices/chemicals such as this I am aware although not what I would prefer unless I could watch somebody use one of these for several months at least to check side effects ha)... I do not care to eat in front of others as well...I was tortured as a kid at the table by my folks and sibling and those effects are long standing apparently lol on a similar note in comparison no matter how we change our stuff such as addiction we are still addicted to sunflower seeds and such or whatever makes your wire fire

You guys are killing me. Please tell me you are kidding. You must not eat either when you are on the road. That reminds be of a joke where two hobos are taking a crap in the park and one hobo says to the other, 'sshh, did you hear that? What's that noise'. The other hobo says, 'Geez, how long has it been since you ate? That's your azzhole chewing on the grass.' No kidding! yeah its crazy...my body has undergone many transformations(don't get it twisted fellas lol) in my 40 years. I have been 150 lbs and worked out like a maniac for slim yet strong(skateboarding). And iv been 200+lbs v shaped torso and basically a meat head, 7k crunches a week then some etc...very, very strong. Now im 250 lbs(around there I don't have a scale but I beg for all tests and measurments to be given when I visit dr's so as of 3 weeks ago I was 252lbs and down actually about 25lbs in 2 months due to a new grain diet and 25lb dumbbell workouts and walks other than work. Anyhow due to health of my back(very bad) and other portions of my body I had to give weight lifting up or at least things directly resulting with my back muscles. And my diet over those years ending about 4 years ago now my body acts very(and mind), very strangely. I withhold crap for 10 days and more when out of town. And I eat very, very well(depending on what my fiancé eats lol)... We frequent a couple resorts north of us monthly in summer or bi monthly in winter. In june we were there for 3 days and on the first night I went....this was very satisfying. On a side note my obesity is strange. I do not snack...no candy or chips ever unless its a bite(1/3 a candy bar) for energy which may happen once every 3 months, if that, for example if we are at the flea market or the mall and im hungry and all I can find are way outdated snickers for $.05 cents each I will use a small portion for energy... When on the road a very full 2 meals a day and no go no 2 til home... As mentioned I am changing my diet and lifestyle completely lately because not going for 10 days at least 5 times a year is very unhealthy even when not feeling the need to go. My colitis also contributes to my ailments and no go 2 in many ways including adverse reactions obviously.

I have great respect for you. I typically wear sandals year-round, which makes me quite identifiable around the building. This in turn has developed into a public crapping phobia because, while dudes may not look at each other's junk @ the urinal, we definitely take notice of the shoes behind the awful stench in stall #2. I've managed to tailor my BM's to morning and evening's. In rare cases I'll use the office toilet as long as a) it's empty when I go in, and the handicap stall is available. Fortunately I have to 10 floors to choose from. I've also gotten good at out-waiting whoever may come in while I'm already in there. Port-a-potties at outdoor events? Long lines of people waiting for their turn, judging everyone that takes longer than 1.5 minutes? FORGET ABOUT IT. I know this seems laughable, but it's actually a huge point of stress. Thanks for bringing it up Beek, I don't feel quite so alone in my phobia now. I completely relate. I was recently given some sandals as well to wear and they are a one of a kind custom fashion type that my fiancé has put on my feet so you wont have second thoughts that's its me. These days when im on the road I don't actually crap hardly at all. If I do its really nice. Such a release. Even up to 10 days(sometimes more) no kidding so that's the same kind of schedule you observe at work as well. Then I get home and its job well done every time. Very unusual yet again its my schedule. I do have 3 bathrooms I can use without anybody bothering. 1 is all mine. porta potties are scary to me. im not taking any chances. I try to limit the fiber when them are within thought or sight out about so many days from that given time. It does seem to be a phobia that stays with us although gets easier as days get shorter as life moves on. I have some rough stomach issues that were derived from my dads side so iv been through the ringer at the crapper and sometimes not even making it that far. Once I was so close after a 20 minute drive...the majority made it to wear it belonged but the rest was thrown away doo to that fact that it was doo...im sure its imaginable. I actually didn't make it there once... I will call them stomach docs. I have had several and I avoid them like any other doc anymore. Best I have done is learn to deal with my crap on my own. Anybody else may just crap on what I know is best for me.

I'll never forget when I was young and getting over my going to the bathroom in restrooms at work(number 2) I would pick the stall next to somebody else to get over my issue. Anyhow 1 day the big one came. I walked in and there were 10 stalls all empty xept 1. I picked the one next to another that had somebody was already in(this was my way of fighting my anxiety) and it was my direct boss. I sat and crapped right next one of only 3 people that knew how much I was paid. There he sat with his brand new "new balance" shoes and we crapped together. I didn't talk through the stall or anything, I hadn't got that far in life yet. Nowadays I don't even shut the door. I just wave and talk to whoever looks/watches. Heck crapping use to be communal. Many, many years ago we crapped together in big communal toilets. I prefer to keep my business private these days to be honest... although I pushed the limits and I wouldn't be surprised if it were to happen again. I have ulcerative colitis as well so im a frequent flyer sometimes. When you gotta crap its not healthy to hold it in. Gas as well...its better to just let it go(maybe run to the other room, maybe not). Believe me this week I passed a kidney stone and besides that...... stomach pain is nothing to mess with!

It was said best a while ago on this forum bose 901's are big fart cans. So true. Iv told the story before and now i forget what amp. I turned them backwards and used a huge amp on some series 5 901's one time to just show how loud they could get. Anyhow an empty plastic walmart baggy was on the floor wadded up. Those 901's were pumping man...the bag moved and ended up blowing around in the room like you were driving down the road in your car with an empty sack blowing around in back seat it was a hoot! Other than many years ago 301's fitting a purpose in my at the time very diluted audio mind that 901 sack blowing exibit was awesome! The amp was a huge 50lb or more 2 channel amp i forget which one "butt them 901's" sure did blow air...I should of got a video... That said there is a purpose for bose. 301's maybe if your new to audio its a right of passage i feel. I wasted at least 15 months and a few $k learning they were simply a moot audio noise reproducer...pa 802's are good for an auctioneer! And since you cant sell your 901's id get a beast amp and make a mattress pump out of them. The fellas that were watching this were actually impressed and i'll be true i was to at the time lol If you had a room full of nib bose you have a problem...a house full well just bless your heart. I wouldnt take for free...and yes iv mentioned as well, my final pair of 901's i gave away...i had no room and they were not gonna be stored anywhere to waste any space truly even for a trash pile, id rather have the trash pile easier to throw away and less attention. Between bose and dre or now verizon beats man i have&use a few pair of grados(great value even the prestige series) one pair still nib...true audiophile sound is far from sound produced with either bose or dre beats...klipsch cans too lack audiophile sq as well thus far compared to cans that have been around for some years and some such as grado 100% American. Bose and "beats" are gimmicks that make corporate money. Bose cans/hp's come on lol give me a break lol I have recently bought some klipsch cans to test other than an old pair i used and i will say they hold a spot on average sq in amoung many headphones iv had over years...bottom line i have a few pair of akg's one pair 44's in particular that were $30 nib and sound far greater than the king kong beats 2.0...my daughter has a pink pair that were hundreds+ and the sq is less than moderate to be descent about them with yes bass. Its a trend and i feel the govt is behind the dre beats movement so all these kids are def before long leading to problems with hearing and long term making money for health industry

Last year we spent time at a fiance' large family cabin on the river with pontoon and boat. Always a hoot there(as matter of fact a very similar slot machine in the game room). Fiance likes to fish...they have an unbelievable deck out across the beach. Id be inside shootin pool, cards or whatever she'd be on that pier throwing a line in sea weed for hours lol its her boat and pontoon lol not like i had to float dock every day. Was a hot 2013 summer though and good tan weather haha only been up there once this year. Quite a palace

Right on. I figured as much considering you do have good equipment and along with that comes knowledge. I have to say only 5-6 years ago this was the way i did it. I never once burned 1 amp up or receiver for that matter. Its like was posted by minermark in the 3rd post the pic of the pissing the neighbors off shirt. The only time i ever had a problem was when i hooked 3 pairs of other brands(2 pair infinity and 1 pair boston acoustics) large floorstanders with 2 subs about 6-7 years ago the cops and the whole neighborhood was at my door, true story... I had to bring up what you read all over the net or at least did years ago...nobody said you could or should do it but i did and i did all the time. My first nib receiver i bought at radio shack when i was about 12(a little 50x2) i had every speaker i could find hooked up to that thing. It sold itself cause an older buddy of mine back then traded his whole stereo for it which was a big deal and around when i got this audio bug bad. These days with all the money and gear i want i try to do things correctly. I wonder if somehoe one day i wont fall back into the same state of hooking it all up to 2 channels. I know a guy that has some really sweet gear and hooks his stuff up this same way. One setup he has is with a big 5 channel amp all running of stereo preouts and a wall full of speakers running off of it. Its all good. I felt wrong to post what most manufacturers specifications deem incorrect to do. Ultimately you do without doubt have the right equipment to do exactly what you are doing the way its running. Even with less quality gear it works. Rock on. Just dont fall asleep(i have lol) to deep with it turned all the way up...in case the neighbor is knocking on the door. Cause when the whole neighborhood is knocking on the back door and all your windows we're just pissing ourselves off lol However you can enjoy it! Rock on!!

Yes there is something unusual about this deal for them with the lady and guy and/or who whatever. If somebody wanted them $350-400 would be an ok value maybe go lower. Somethings not right about this whole situation though.

If you do know create it or buy stock in it if your drive in life is money....I seen something the other day right in front of me valued over 300 billion dollars. I wont go into detail although it was the most incredible thing i have truly ever seen in my entire life. I wish i could explain a bit although its useless. They are and id like some indy ls's in the future possibly, likely no projects though. I do have some very nice black belles klipschwise that i will utilize when we move again...likely march 2015... We are moving back where i lived where i moved after my home was robbed a few years back while with my ex wife. Private secure gated camera community w/2 pools, a very nice golf coarse and the rest of the goodies many like to be surrounded by...3 bedrooms with an office. Anyhue will have room then to decorate and utilize space for separate listening rooms. Actually very happy in the community of the living dead(very old neighbors) and general motors workers were at now and its less than one third the price of where i moved from after divorce...then to now same community. Old def neighbors. They were this morning. They are ok and have some features that some may find appealing. Im not up for extras i dont want or need in particular at the moment that need work. My current radio/listening room is supreme. And i have spares for everything. I will say the situation with these ls's seemed not for me even if i were wanting these ls's. Basically some crites networks and your jamming or there abouts. Then finishing touches a bit at a time to make like new

Myself In the past year my fiance and i have bought roughly 3k cd's on top of about 200 lp's and 1 120gb ipod half full. Im happy to let you all know that! Many of us do list our radio systems in our sigs or in system profile. Myself i list what i prefer to use..at least thats my story. who will ever know lol Soooo. Im going to get a domain and name it and let you read everything i have. If that dont impress you i hope somebody else does or i just find somebody else to impress lol I let 2 people in my home once a month including family. Im mental like that! Deepest sincere blessings. I just had dinner with my fiance' family who have a couple thousand acres of corn in Breckinridge. The storm just slid by them. However there are crops due east of them that have been lost. What a disaster. Crazy things going on. From the drought to floods in Las Vegas Nevada then the same in California. The average of minds would not take much to understand the bipolar outcome and fact this is got to be far from what we find to be normal considering the devastation. Prayers for you! Gives me aches just hearing your pain. I hope you reclaim your audio in due time and the basement turns for the best hereafter.
